“I can and I will.” 🎓

Graduating with honors with a BFA in musical theatre is something that still feels unreal. Studying the three disciplines (acting, music, and dance) that I have held dear to my heart ever since childhood has been such a wonderful gift. I am so proud of myself, my MT cohort, and my further peers for reaching this achievement.

I owe so much of this milestone to my beautiful family. To mom, dad, Jacqueline, and everyone beyond: I could not have reached this moment nor become who I am today without you. Thank you so much for your unwavering love, outrageous laughter, and continuous support. I love you.

To my friends and chosen family: I am so grateful to have found you. Thank you for bringing warmth and light into my life, and thank you for accepting me into yours. Your strength, ambition, and kindness will continue to inspire me as long as I live.

To those who could not be here with me:
Grandpa Jim, Grandpa Joe, Grandma Edith, Grandma Teddy, Aunt Margaret - thank you for loving me and carving the way for me to pursue my dreams.
Dwayne - I chase those dreams in honor of you, my friend.

To my professors: I am so grateful to have found such a caring community at UWM. I hold deep respect and admiration for each and every one of you. Thank you for dedicating your time, effort, and care to my education. It has not gone unnoticed or unfelt.

And to my classmates: no matter the role you played, you all became a vital part of my journey. Thank you for being peers, cast mates, and, as I am so proud to call you, friends. I will cherish our shared memories as I head into this new chapter. Wishing you all the utmost success and happiness moving forward. Don’t be a stranger!

To the Class of 26’! x
