If you’re Singaporean and love browsing supermarkets, @farrofresh is one to put on your NZ list.

I’d describe it as a little like Jason’s in Singapore — more international, more artisanal, and the kind of supermarket where I go in for one thing and inevitably leave with five things I didn’t plan to buy.

What I particularly like about Farro is the selection of smaller NZ brands alongside all the international things you might recognise.

And then there are the little things that make me enjoy shopping there — like the fact that sometimes there’s literally a fruit platter out for customers to help themselves to.

For me, Farro is less “I need groceries” and more “let’s see what I can discover today.”
