“BE YOU” official line launch @sol.baltimore // @peabodyheightsbrewery was DIVINE! (Experienced audio glitches editing this vid but had to put out the recap!)

It was a scene of “cell liberation” ~ freedom of self was abundant! This line is all about encouraging and celebrating authenticity and im glad to see it come to life!

Some of my favorite moments within the workshops we facilitate (because this moment is inevitable)— is when things get quiet. After listening, learning and sharing, there is an invitation to return to our selves. To be in conversation with our own mind, body and spirit.

The moments in these flicks were after an expansive Black Mental Health + First Aid workshop we conducted Thurs May 1 for the @noboundaries21217 Block Captains. After some time discussing things both heavy, and revolutionary— we then returned to self. We wrote letters of love, forgiveness and promise. We also contemplated our roles within our relationships + larger community when it comes to addressing mental health.

It was a divine start to May, which happens to be Mental Health Awareness Month.

On May 24 I will be joining Yoga in the Park to facilitate a reflective creative expression session centering personal and communal Mental Health. @charmcitybipper will also be in the building (we outside tho), offering his insight + some poetry! This is all following a yoga session facilitated by @krowned.koko.maat, so try n come on time!

Mats for yoga are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Journals also encouraged, but not required. (We’ll have some things for ya!)
