A truly magical weekend surrounded by the people I love most. We celebrated Sam’s 30th once again, spent precious time with my mom and nephew filled with swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and endless laughter, and ended it all in the most meaningful way.
I was baptized again in the most beautiful setting, surrounded by some of my favorite people. My heart feels incredibly full, and I’m so grateful for this season, these memories, and the people who make life so beautiful. 🤍

Our second team of June was only planned a few months ago as the Lord changed their plans and directed them to Brazil because of the unrest in the Middle East. And even then, it didn’t start exactly how we had planned it, but in God’s graciousness, He had a plan all along.

Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”

Since the team was delayed, but we had already rented the boat, we took it out to a nearby community that a friend of ours had relationship with. As it was last minute, there were only a few kiddos there, but we had a wonderful time with everyone there. There was plenty of time to ask questions, learn more about their community, and still do a program where we presented the gospel message. They only have access to a 7th day Adventist church when the river is high and it’s still far so they don’t go often. This day reminded me that even when you don’t go very far, there are still communities without gospel access.

Once the team got in, we headed to Manaquiri where we met a local pastor several months ago. He helped us get set up to do a program in the local plaza that evening. There were so many kids and families around listening. We also walked by SO MANY CHURCHES. It’s amazing how in the cities, we can have a church for every 500 people (the literal stat in Manaquiri), but in the surrounding communities, there’s NO gospel access. We spent the next two days in the surrounding communities with house visits, kids programs, and even a program in a local school. We are planning on returning in August and pray for more open doors!

my first mission trip, but def not my last 🫶

Matthew 28:19 "therefore go and make disciples of all nations"

Revelation 7:9 "from every nation, tribe, people, and language standing in front of the throne before the lamb"

The last week of June i was given the absolute honor to travel to Brazil for missions. I will never be able to explain in words the ways in which i am grateful for how the Lord moved in my life during my time there and how he is moving overseas currently.

This trip not only allowed me to get out of my comfort zone, but it also allowed me to grow and test my faith. It taught me to truly lean on God, for even the smallest things (like the insane heat or in sickness) and for big things too (like our flight delays and changes #shoutoutJordiatcopa). It also revealed areas of my heart i need to work on (conviction is protection btw 😛🫶) and helped me strengthen areas of my walk i was already working on! #PRAISE

Coming home i left with many things.
1. I left with a renewed fire for jesus #PRAISE!!!
2. I learned how intense a language barrier can be, but also how powerful the Lord will be in working around that. And the fact that prayer is powerful regardless of what language, and if you understand the words being spoken out or not.
3. I left feeling more secure in my career path than i had before i went, seeing as ministering to these kids and their families brought me the MOST joy #praise #allglorytohim
4.finally i left with so many memories that will last a life time❤️

thanking everyone who supported me and made this trip possible, i love you all and jesus loves you so much more ❤️❤️❤️
