And just like that, the countdown is down to the final hours. It feels surreal looking back to exactly 1 year ago when we first took over this account, honestly terrified of how fast this year would fly by.

Tonight at midnight, our term as your 24th regional Gizborim officially comes to a close. This past year has been an absolute whirlwind of growth, milestones, and memories that we will carry with us forever. Getting to manage the region’s funds, raising over $61,000 for GBD, and supporting you all has truly been the greatest privilege we could have asked for.

While this may be the last time GMR hears from us, our hearts will forever be with this region. Now, we’re ready and prepared for wherever life takes us next!

Emma is packing her bags and heading off to the University of Illinois, taking all the skills and memories from this region into her freshman year.

Garf is taking his talents down south to the University of Kentucky to start his next big adventure. Be sure to follow along with both of our college journeys.

To Ethan and Dana—our incredibly sharp, hilarious, and brilliant successors: the region is in the best possible hands. Cherish every single moment of this upcoming year because it truly goes by in a flash. We are so proud to hand the torch over to you two (just try not to outshine us too much).

It’s heartbreaking to close the book on the best year of our lives, but this is definitely a year to remember. Thank you GMR for bringing us all the happiness in the world and thank you to all of you for letting us serve you this year.

״לא עליך המלאכה לגמור, ולא אתה בן חורין ליבטל ממנה״
-from Pirkei Avot

“It is not your responsibility to finish the work, but neither are you free to walk away from it.”

One last post. One final day.

It’s hard to sum up a year like this.

Between the planning, the chaos, the group chats, the events, and everything in between that nobody really sees, The Morim network became something we’ll carry long after this.

It was never just about what we did. It was the people, the energy, and building something together that actually meant something.

To the 24th Regional Board,
Thank you for showing up, putting in the work, and making this year what it was. What started as meetings turned into memories, growth, and real friendship. We’re leaving with more than accomplishments, we’re leaving with people we’re grateful for.

To our Staff,
Jami, Max, Naomi, and Isabell, Thank you for believing in us, guiding us, and supporting us every step of the way. You gave us the space to lead while always being there when we needed you.

And to Jacob and Blake,
Take it and make it yours. Trust yourselves, lead your way, and build something even stronger. We can’t wait to see what you do with it.

Thank you to everyone who made this year what it was.

This may be our last post as Morim, but it’s not the end of the story.

We were never meant to finish it, just to be part of it.

Respectfully and Fraternally Submitted with an Undying Love for Moreshet Ma’arav BBYO #5032, Shabak AZA #2342, the Great Midwest Region #61, the International Order of the B’nai B’rith Girls and the Grand Order of the Aleph Zadik Aleph,

we forever remain:
Gavin Meyers & Mimi Simon, your DAMN PROUD 24th Regional Morim.

Spring convention!!! I just have to say wow GMR you guys showed up and showed out!!! Starting off with a new GMR got talent, to new senior awards, and Saturday night banquet, you guys embraced change and made it one of the best conventions yet!!! It was an honor to watch the bbgs embrace separates and inductions!

This was truly the best foot to leave off on in my convention experience. The vibes, energy, and the family truly made it the best convention yet. Thank you GMR

Can you believe it’s over? Our last convention as your 24th regional Mazkirim was one to remember. 😢

From enchanting shabbat acapella to show stopping shabbat services and captivating cheer circles, your favorite co-pair went out with a BANG 💥

We are SO proud of our newly elected successors @ohnoitsjosie and @bbeachball (featured at the end) and can’t wait to see where the year takes you. We’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines.

With less than a month left of our term, let’s make it count, GMR 💪 #mazwins

What a weekend. Spring Convention gave us one more chance to laugh way too hard, stay up way too late, scream every song at the dance, and make memories we’ll be talking about for years.

This year as Morim has been something really special. From the little moments to the big programs, every chapter, conversation, and convention reminded us how lucky we are to be part of this community. The friendships, the chaos, the traditions, and the people are what make it all unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who made this year what it was. Keep checking in on each other, keep showing up, and keep the Morim spirit alive long after convention ends. This is never really goodbye 💙❤️

What’s up GMR!!! Soooo I may of just realized I never got to share my IC experience!!! IC was amazing. Starting off with helping behind the scenes with the experience admin team, to an amazing execs, hanging out with service animals, and even singing along with the Hamilton cast! It only got better seeing the pride and unity of our region! That same passion is what led to the BBG’s of GMR taking home the Max F Baer Spirit Cup! As you can see I was a bit emotional seeing our ladies hard work pay off!! I am so grateful for all of the opportunities and love shared here!!!

Happy 102nd, AZA. 🥳

For over a century, this brotherhood has been built on showing up. We have gone through the wins, the losses, and everything in between. Alephs chose to step up, take responsibility, and leave something better than they have found it. 🙌

Serving as Regional Mazkir, I’ve had a front row seat to that. I’ve seen Alephs lead for the first time, take risks, fall short, and come back stronger. 💪

People always ask me, why BBYO?

It comes down to the people. The Aleph who walks in unsure but stays. The Aleph who takes a chance on leadership. The Aleph who doesn’t win, but doesn’t quit either. That’s the reason WE last. 🫵

Fraternally submitted with an undying love for each and every one of you. 🫶

I forever remain,
Aleph Jack William Sollinger,
A DAMN PROUD ALEPH.

82 years. Today we celebrate 82 years of honor, courage, sisterhood, and joy. We celebrate the light that guides us home and the sisters that make it home.

BBG is not three letters, it is a movement; one that wouldn’t be the same without each and every one of you. It’s the people who walk into your life and somehow change it without even trying. It’s the feeling of being understood without having to explain everything. It’s the late nights, the inside jokes, the moments where you realize you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

It’s also the hard parts; the times you doubt yourself, or feel out of place, and someone reminds you that you belong anyway. That is what makes our colors ring bold and true. That’s what makes it last.

82 years ago, this started with a group of girls who believed in something bigger than themselves. And somehow, that same feeling still exists in every chapter, every program, every friendship.

So today isn’t just about looking back-it’s about looking ahead, to you all. We carry our legacy, whether we realize it or not. So, to 82 years and 82 more, BBG, you’re who we adore.

Respectfully submitted with an undying love for cheer circle, the red book, Anita M Perlman, San Francisco, GMR BBYO #61, the International Order of the B’nai B’rith Girls, and of course, each and every one of you,
We forever remain,
GMR’s 24th BBG Board
Ella, Samantha, Mimi, Hallie, Gaby, Emma
Damn proud B’nai B’rith Girls
