🥴Bruh…‼️ it’s been exactly 10 years since I got into this camera work thing. I deadass started all of this by accident.

I saw where media/content creation was going, saw the rise of all these creative people, and wondered if I could do the same. I took hours to learn a lot BUT! I spent mad time thinking I wasn’t good enough or creative enough.

Now, after all this time, I said, f*ck it. I love that I’ve been able to help mad people, but I had to start sharing whatever comes to mind and start standing in front of the camera instead of always being behind it.

Whether I fail or succeed, it’ll help me get better at something.

Sometimes you gotta close one perspective to open another.

2 years ago I made one of the toughest decisions of my life, I decided to go back to school and make a full career switch at 27 years old. Afraid of starting over and worrying about what people would think, I did it anyways.

In 2017, I made the decision to dropout from college. I didn’t know what I wanted to do, I switched majors prolly like 5 times before deciding to drop out. Everyone said college was the place to discover yourself, but I couldn’t find out who I was or what I wanted to be so I left school.

8 years later, I decided to go back to school to become a sports psychologist and help people like me who struggled with transitioning into life after sports. I also would love to help athletes find their confidence, something I struggled with. Within 1 year back, I obtained my Associates in Psychology from @bhccboston taking my first steps towards a goal I set.

9 years later, I obtained my Bachelors degree in Psychology from @umasslowell and made a full career switch. I’m now a Teacher, teaching Physical Education while I still move forward with my plan of becoming a sports psychologist.

My journey is far from done but I say all this because YOU CAN DO IT. Whatever it is that you been hesitant on, whether it’s a career change, a small business idea, going for a promotion, finding new hobbies, YOU CAN DO IT. Dare yourself to step out of your comfort. Dare yourself to take the risk of going after everything you ever wanted because YOU ARE MORE THAN CAPABLE AND DESERVING OF IT ALL.

To think in just 2 years how much my life has changed. I never thought I was capable of finishing school and felt trapped in a career hated. But reaching this milestone is such an accomplishment and the things I discovered about myself along the journey has only made me more confident in who I am and the things I’m capable of.

Find your journey, trust and appreciate the process, find you and your confidence, and create memories along the way.

Thank you to my family, thank you to those that became family, and thank you to everyone who continues to support me throughout my journey. LOVE YALL 💙
