Just a quick THANK YOU to my first Zumba instructor, Carlos, for allowing me to jump in and teach a song today!

It’s honestly crazy to think that 6 years ago, I walked into your class as a student weighing 300 lbs… and now I’m back as a completely different person, growing, learning, and developing into the instructor I’ve always hoped to become.

And the timing couldn’t be more perfect because this month marks my 1 year as a ZIN! 🥹🔥

Carlos, thank you for being part of the beginning of my journey and for giving me that space to dance, grow, and eventually find something I didn’t even know I had in me. Thank you denise for joining maria and i in the 2 hour drive to RI! It was so much fun 🫶🏻

And Jossan, thank you for letting me borrow your moves for this AMAZING choreography! 🔥 I had way too much fun with this one!

6 years later… still dancing. Still learning. Still growing.
