I am not my own. I’m an unworthy but grateful servant of Jesus.

My experience at NGU:
I came here knowing no one. I prayed a single prayer during welcome week: Lord, if you’re willing allow me to find an intentional group of friends; a group full of people I can call my brothers and sisters. I prayed this prayer one time. And the Lord provided. It all started with me accidentally pushing open the door of my SLT, Bailey, who urged me to come to “family dinner” at 5 with her friends. I had no idea I was about to meet my best friends. I also prayed for a church family!! Within 2 weeks a church I had only planned to visit was my new church home. I got plugged into Redeemer City, which then led me to feel a call towards college and youth ministry. I then was connected with dozens of other college students from 3 separate colleges through Redeemer’s college ministry. Thank you NGU for the community, and thank God for my friends, youth girls, redeemer college, and these amazing years. I would not change a single thing🤎

“O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips, when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night; for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭63‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭
