The 2026 Billabong Occy Grom Comp, held at our home break Snapper Rocks, will go down as one of the best ever. Cheers to @billabong_australia @surfing_queensland @purecococoast n @SunBum for putting on such a slick, world-class event.

We are blown away by our juniors n Congratulate everyone who competed over the five-day event. We watched you give it everything against Australia’s best, you did us proud.

Australian Dream takes Costa da Caparica to film festivals in Australia!!!

Australian Dream, a film directed by Tiago P. de Carvalho, tells the story of six friends and a cameraman who travelled from Costa da Caparica to Australia in search of what seemed like an impossible dream.

Driven by their passion for surfing and their desire to represent ASCC and Portugal, they competed in the World Club Challenge at Snapper Rocks, one of the world’s most iconic waves, in an event that brought together 48 clubs from several countries.
Through competition, friendship and emotion, the dream became reality.

The film showcases the strength of Costa da Caparica, the spirit of ASCC and its unique connection to Australian surf culture, featuring living legends and major names in world surfing such as Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholomew, Mark Occhilupo, Joel Parkinson, Owen Wright and Michel Bourez, among others.

Selected for the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival and the Noosa International Surfilm Festival in Australia, Australian Dream brings to the world a Portuguese story built on passion, friendship and the ocean.
