I toured the world with Seth for ten years and he’s the most creative person I know. I was buzzing to spend a day hanging out and shooting these shots.

Billy Bilsland very kindly lent me the new Cervelo Aspero 5, the new Shimano S-Phyre shoes and the new Dura Ace pedals and they make quite the cocktail.

The bike comes paired with reserve 40/44 carbon wheels and it’s a slick and aero whip ready to race or eat up miles. It’s super responsive and corners really well. The new Shimano GRX is flawless and the braking is superb. I love di2!

Super cool to have a local bike shop so open to letting you try things and give feedback. Give them a shout if you’re looking to try or buy.

This ain’t a paid gig, I’m just lucky to get the chance to try some cool things.

A day dodging tractors and making the most of like 1% non A-road

Gutted for @liamscottd and @benmillar95 bridging so close to the sprint. Would have been even more interesting.

14th in age cat. (guys approaching middle age trying to escape trauma 😅🫠) at the British Gravel Championships today.

Started this week in hospital in a lot of pain with a completely fucked elbow so to end it with this is pretty class. I wasn’t able to straighten my arm until Wednesday. When I told the doctor I had a race on Sunday the look I got was less than ideal, but we got there.

Some big strong boys and a savage course. When you’re going backwards at 500watts you know you’re in for a long day.

Onwards to Belgium next week and the European Championships 🇪🇺😈📈

Many people have helped get me to the start line the last wee while and I can’t thank you all enough. Legends of the game. Special shout to @edenholly1 for the elite bottle service and for being the loudest person on the hill and my man @nick.munr0 for his coaching and his wisdom. 🖤

Melanie Rowe took the Scottish senior and junior women’s titles at 17, holding off Eleanor Dixon and Lydia Louw by three seconds after 40 kilometres alone.

Rowe attacked on the second ascent of Dungavel and rode away from the two riders who had gone clear with her on the opening lap. By 20 kilometres to go she led by 1-23, with the bunch more than four minutes back.

Over the climb for the final time, Dixon and Louw found something. The gap came down in chunks rather than seconds, and Rowe crossed the line with both of them in the frame behind her. Five days earlier she had finished second at the North Yorkshire Grand Prix.

Sam Barbour led a Cycling Sheffield one-two at the Scottish Road Race Championships, winning a five-up sprint in Strathaven from a move that went at two laps and stayed away.

Nine riders slipped clear at the end of the second lap of seven and were never brought back. Cycling Sheffield had both their entrants in it. When Joe Shillabeer attacked with 10 kilometres to go, they were the only team able to follow, and Barbour came round teammate James Sawyers for the jersey. Liam Scott Douglas took third.

Tim Shoreman, Sam Chisholm and Logan Maclean — the last three men to hold this title — all missed the split.

Three Scottish road race titles are up for grabs at Strathaven on Saturday.

Tim Shoreman (Wheelbase CabTech Castelli) heads the open field as he bids to reclaim the jersey he won in 2023, while 17-year-old Melanie Rowe (Private Member) arrives fresh from second at the North Yorkshire Grand Prix and could win both the junior title and the race outright.
