Come spend your Saturday in Bed-Stuy with us! 🌞

Tomorrow, The LP will be popping up from 12–3:00pm at the Friends of St. Andrew’s Playground annual Community Day celebration. Join LP staff and Create Change Fellows Jing Dong and Natalia Guzmán Solano for art making and programming centered around collective recovery, joy, and rest.

We’ll be there 12–3, but Community Day runs 11–6: come take in all that the celebration has to offer. The park is right around the corner from The LP at Kingston and Herkimer in Bed-Stuy (official address: 1405 Atlantic Ave).

⛺ And happening on the same day, Create & Connect Fund recipients the Eastern District Tents #3 are holding a day of activities and learning at 87 MacDonough Street. Experience living history at the Brooklyn HQ of the oldest Black women’s abolitionist society in the country, originally established in secrecy to provide aid to those escaping slavery on the Underground Railroad.
