Dearest Gentle Reader,

It appears the diamond of the season has found her most worthy suitor. 💎

The ton is positively enchanted as Lady Grant prepares to become Lady Wicker.

A most splendid celebration was held in her honor, and one thing is certain… this shall be the wedding of the season.

Yours truly,
Lady Whistledown. 🕊️🥂

This morning in between sets a girl I’ve never met came up to me and told me she’s been watching me for months and that the amount of progress I’ve made has blown her mind. She said she was telling her husband, “that’s the result of consistency and hard work”.

If you know anything about me, I’ve never been someone who relies on external validation or even an end goal. I just love the process, executing, and seeing what I’m capable of becoming. Still, hearing that made me tear up because I realized I rarely stop to actually take in how far I’ve come in such a short amount of time.

The job is never finished + I’ve never doubted my ability to achieve anything I set out to do, but it was a good reminder that you can stay hungry for more while still acknowledging the work you’ve already put in :)

what i ate on our trip to texas! 🍽️✈️

i used to stress about traveling because i felt like i had two options: bring a cooler full of meals and miss out on everything, or say screw it and eat whatever and feel horrible after…

competing has taught me how to live in that grey area - the middle ground between too rigid and too flexible (!!!)

the day before we left i prepped ONE protein, ONE carb, ONE veggie, ONE fat. chicken, sweet potato, broccoli. froze it overnight to bring with me on our flight. when i got there i grabbed greek yogurt, raspberries, and banana from the grocery store. thats all! a little thought, a little preparation, and so worth it.

those simple meals got me through the day so i could actually enjoy dinner out with family without overthinking it throughout the day (such a real struggle, i promise you’re not alone!)

i used to struggle so much with eating out. i’d either order the “cleanest” thing on the menu and feel deprived, or go overboard and feel awful after. now i eat what i actually want, in portions that align with my goals, and focus on the people i’m with instead just what’s on my plate, being fully present!! 🌟

this is what “balance” truly does look like when your goal is building muscle or losing fat - not perfection, not restriction, just a LITTLE preparation and mindful choices 🤸‍♀️

when you take the initiative to show up for yourself even in imperfect circumstances, you stop the cycle of “i’ll restart Monday” and actually make progress (!!!)

ready to finally build your dream body without the all-or-nothing mindset? link in bio 🫶🏼
