What a weekend I'll never forget!

My first Special Olympics softball season is officially in the books, and I couldn't be more grateful. We came home with 🥈 2nd Place and the Sportsmanship Award, but the greatest thing we won was the friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

To my teammates, coaches, volunteers, family, and everyone who cheered us on—thank you for believing in me and making my first softball experience so special. We started the season as teammates, but by the end, we became family.

This weekend reminded me that it's not always about the scoreboard. It's about showing up, giving your best, lifting each other up, having fun, and never giving up. That's what Special Olympics is all about.
I'm incredibly proud to represent the Special Olympics Oregon Benton County Rats and can't wait for next season. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
