Colorado,
How do you say goodbye to a place that provided us with so much? What started as me taking a leap of faith to chase a girl turned into one of the best experiences I ever could’ve imagined. We took chances, we adventured, and we fell in love with each other and you. This isn’t goodbye but instead a “see you later.”
Love,
Jon, liz, houser, Athena, Ruka, Franklin

The first time I met Liz, she was taking class. She immediately caught my eye because she was one of the strongest people I’d seen come through the Den, and she had amazing form. I complimented her deadlift and then asked, “What’s your deal?” Then, “Are you an instructor somewhere?” And then I said, “You should apply to become a Sweat Den instructor.” And the rest is history.

At Sweat Den, our mission has always been to unpack potential, inspire greatness, and make a positive impact within our community and beyond and it all starts with our team. I’ve always wanted Sweat Den to be a place where our coaches are challenged to grow, encouraged to lead, and given the space to discover that they’re capable of so much more. Getting to watch Liz do exactly that has been such a gift.

For those who would like to help us celebrate Liz, her final class will be Thursday, 10/1 at 4:15 PM. Even if you’re unable to take class, please feel free to stop by and give her some love.

We love you, Liz. The beach is calling…

Xx, Sweat Den

IN GOOD COMPANY // 9.19.26

The best morning I could have asked for.
Captured by @aleshaneeconner ✨

I shared this at the end of the workout, and it feels important enough to give permanence here as well.

For the past ~10 months, I’ve felt like a part of myself was missing. Like there was this beautiful, passionate piece of me floating around out there, waiting for me to find her.

But planning this event series, and every action I took toward bringing it to life, inched me closer and closer. And Saturday morning, with the help of 80 other people, we brought her home.

It’s hard to let go of part of your identity, even when you know it might only be temporary. Especially when it’s something you’ve been rooted in for so long. But sometimes, in the pursuit of progress, you have to allow yourself to take a step back to gain perspective and come back stronger.

I’ve worked in group fitness for 12 years, and some of the best people in my life are people I never would have known without it. Looking around on Saturday, I saw people who were there at the very beginning, and people I’ve met in every chapter since.

And somewhere in these last 10 months, I realized that’s the part I could never walk away from.

The relationships. The community. The way movement brings people into your life who may have otherwise never crossed your path.

That is In Good Company.

It’s a reflection of what this industry has given me over the last 12 years and an opportunity to imagine what it could look like next.

Saturday brought a part of me home, and now I get to see where she takes me 🤍

The first glimpse into what went down yesterday ✨

Launching In Good Company and stepping back into fitness this way has felt better than I could have even imagined.

To everyone who showed up, thank you for trusting me and setting the bar high with this first one.

And a very special shoutout to our partners @rooftop1630, @revskinandwellness, @sanadorawellness, @bronzedandbonded , @aleshaneeconner, and @selahcoffee.co — I couldn’t have asked for a better group to bring this to life with!

The first one is in the books. And there’s plenty more where this came from 🚀
