Lots can happen with the family on days off: Birthday suppers, family golf, theatre movie, deck movie, remove trees from the storm, dump runs, basement rebuild, baseball game, bbq pizzas, family game nights and lots of laughs.

My first powerlifting competition was sat at GRIT - and I’m am overjoyed with how it went!
I hit PRs, got 1st place in my weight class, and 2nd strongest women overall raw.

Squat: 138kg/303lbs ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (COMP PR)
Bench: 70kg/154lbs ⚪️⚪️🔴 (COMP PR)
Deadlift: 170kg/375lbs ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (COMP/GYM PR)
8/9 378kg/831lbs total!!

Ended up qualifying for provincials and westerns!!! I can’t thank my coach and fiancée enough for support and inspiration.

Thank you to all the volunteers and refs that helped run GRIT, it was a wonderful experience!

2025 GREAT year for fitness - thank you to Ayden’s love for stats - my Strava said I trained for 320hours!

I’m very proud of myself and Ayden for all of our achievements. Literally blood, sweat and tears!

I’m very excited to see what 2026 has in store for me. I’ll be competing in my first powerlifting competition this month, and plan to keep that going for the next little while.

Thank you everyone in my life for making this year of fitness so much fun!!
