Today we celebrated our boy turning 7 at Urban Air with his bestest friends!!
He did bumper cars, ropes course, zip line, jumping on the trampoline, obstacle course and the climbing structure. He didn’t stop moving for 2 hours straight with the exception of taking a quick pizza break and singing happy birthday! He needed that!
I’m glad he has awesome friends who love to celebrate him! We think he’s pretty awesome! Yay for Philip!

Your home should be a personal sanctuary. It’s a place where you can be yourself, create a space to relax and feel at peace. A true home will tell a special story. Each corner has its importance and Our House will be a place to fill those corners with special pieces old and new!

Little about me- I’m Kate McCabe, I’m a mom to two beautiful daughter’s Madilyn & Charlotte and married to my amazing husband Matt. We moved from Boston to St.Louis in 2022. It’s been such an amazing experience but when we moved I wanted so deeply to create a home here- one that felt inviting, warm and chic. To create those feelings of warmth I knew I needed to start looking at more affordable ways to accomplish this dream.

I was nervous to launch this project Our House because l’m self taught but my passion for creating & resourcing curated old and new pieces to create magical spaces took over and here we are!! I’d love the opportunity to help you make your home feel like a personal sanctuary like I’ve to mine!

Our House will be a place I will post weekly home decor & classic clothing brands I resource. I will also be offering bundles for your home with themed decor packages or room specific packages. Clothing will be higher end items that will be affordable & only top quality! All pieces are chosen with intention and love, so let’s start decorating together both home & some closet staples!

28 today.

While I don’t have “28 lessons” or “28 things I’ve learned over 28 years of life” I have a few.

- Be ambitious, and have big goals.

- There’s nothing wrong with wanting to win, and be the best.

- Along the journey of life, be genuine always and kind when needed, but never be afraid to be firm, and a savage when the time comes. The world was built by those people. The world needs those people.

These are important to me not just because I believe them to be true (I mean it’s your life, the thing you only get one try at. Why would you not want it to be as big as it can possibly be?)

But more than that, it’s about the opportunities you earn, and the people you get to meet, serve, and build relationships with along the path of being your best that truly matters.

People matter most in this life. And I know some of the best. From family and friends, coworkers, and teammates, to people who used to only influence me from afar who now I have genuine friendships with. Most of which may not have came to be, if I hadn’t decided to set big goals, and strive to be the best I could.

The “things” and the “stuff” is, and will be great. But the people I get to know and love, and the example that I know winning set for me, that I now get to set for someone else because I stopped playing small. That’s what I’m most proud of.

Whether you’re in this post or not, just know I’m grateful for you everyday. You make me better, and I’m grateful to see 28 with all you guys.

30 For The Kids at Summer Smash is honestly my favorite part.

The first time I heard @mrfrisella share the story of how we help so many kids to champion for them all the way in Haiti, giving them a better life from people who truly love them, it really hit me.

Being a part of our @1stphorm community of such genuine people who want to make this world a better place is something I absolutely love. We had so many pushing each other in the workout, hyping each other up, but we showed up for those who need us to always remember the bigger mission.

So many memories, so many amazing friends and one hell of a way to kick off the final day of Summer Smash 2026!
