Reasons why I always suggest;
1. Be there when armament is working your gear (SEND AN SME) not just Pvt, not because he can’t handle it, but leaders know what equipment is supposed to do!
2. Talk to armament and get the 23&P, promise you, when you have an issue, look it up, see what the fix may be and explain to higher in a detailed and much more educated manner..
. Only you can prevent forest fires! Remember that!
Also, gunna start watermarking shit, as certain people love to repost, make themselves famous and that’s not what this page is about, it’s about knowledge transfer, not selling stuff on discord for revenge…

The clock starts once your first round goes out.

Counterfire radar, drones, observers, sound, and electronic signature all work against the gunline. Survivability comes down to reducing what you expose, limiting how long you expose it, and always being ready to move.

Mortar squads and sections must be ruthless in their adherence to rehearsals and rapid occupation / displacement of a mortar firing position.

Part 2 covers signature reduction, shoot-and-hide, displacement, camouflage, field fortification, and local security. If you missed part 1, check it out on our page for an overview of some position selection considerations.

More mortar employment classes like this are live in Point of Action. Link in bio.
