@4elementshealth here! If you haven’t already, follow for more content like this where I share how my cold ocean swim practice mirrors life. 🌊❄️ There will always be discomfort and unknowns, but by focusing on my breath and moving with the waves, I stay centered and calm. This is my fifth Fall season of ocean swimming, and as I continue through the colder months, it keeps me grounded—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Cold water therapy helps regulate emotions, manage inflammation, improve circulation, and calm my nervous system. As a Kinesiologist and health coach, I use this practice to support my overall well-being, and I’m here to inspire others to do the same. Follow along for more on how the elements can support your health journey! 💪🏼 🌟 #healthaccount #wellnessjourney #oceanswim #coldplunge #fitnessaccount #health

The Move With Me Challenge is a 60-day daily movement program with a twist. A 60-day fundraiser in support of (BWSS) Battered Women’s Support Services, @endingviolence Sweat To Support Survivors Challenge. Join me every day for 60 days and let’s raise support, raise funds and raise awareness together to support for BWSS’s essential programs. We lay the foundation with an in-depth tour around understanding how to better regulate, tend and befriend the nervous system by applying a trauma-informed lens that emphasizes the importance of intuitive-based movement that can help re-establish safety and strength.

You’ll learn to explore, sense and deepen your daily movement practice with a variety of classes and modalities designed to support and guide you towards improving your physical and emotional resilience. Includes a team portal to access your pre-recorded videos, worksheets and program. Daily Mobility, Slow Flow Restorative Practices, strength and featured Breathe exercises. All sessions combine play, exploration, curiosity and use strength-based, movement therapy tools to create space for conversation, body autonomy and a sense of self through intuitive-based conditioning.   Every Sunday, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about sacred-self-care with our guest contributors. These are teachers and knowledge body workers who are doing great work in our community.   Join now, we start July 15th  - September 15th , 2024.

What an incredible month. The Move With Me Challenge supporting BWSS @endingviolence Sweat to Support Challenge was a huge success. We raised over $5,000 with over 60 people participating online and in person. Thank you to all our Self-Care Sunday’s Guests who brought their compassion, kindness and conversation to our challenge. @katiemckenziemvmt @allmethodstudio kendracoupland @indigenousyogini @melissa.nkomo @kunye.co @marycrayston @4elementshealth @insta_mirr Roberto, our mascot To all the participants who came out, there were so many but special thanks to : @jessicaleereigh @marnie__b @erinarnold @misiamisia4 @thehousewivesofhiphop @ljbyday @andreea_milne_ @mskristinlkreuk @megasoulstar @vancouvermuscledoctor @toly.ca @jeremydvaughan @leonamgreene @kitsbeachcoffee @allisontenney @angelamariemac_ @marielbarin @thereflectere @katrinalazz @charlenesalmi It takes a whole community to tend to the garden of change. It takes us all. May this be the start of a larger force where we continue to dialogue and take action towards sustainable solutions in ending gender based violence. Let’s keep the momentum going! Always, for my mom. May you rest in strength. For all the survivors, we see you. You’re never alone. ♥️

It takes a village. Tonight we had Miranda founder of @4elementshealth run a group class at @kitsbeachcoffee with the proceeds donated to @endingviolence Miranda @insta_mirr and I have known each other for 10 years. And I’ve had the honour of both coaching her on the training floor, through business and witnessing her strength and evolution on so many levels. Tonight she ran a group class. Clients who have been connecting through C*VID online and this was the first in person meet up for those clients. This is what the Move With Me Challenge is all about. Connecting people through community, conversation and experiences that are deeply memorable. Miranda knows how to light up a room and her ability to coach from the heart is something you just have to witness. Leo also took part and Roberto (Miranda’s pup) was the cutest mascot. Thank you Miranda for supporting the Sweat to Support Survivors Challenge!
