Addie wrote a letter at school to Martin Luther King...it made me cry for many reasons. Tears of joy that her little heart connects & resonates with love & justice. Tears over the truths she expressed so beautifully. Tears of pain for all those who are marginalized & judged because of the color of their skin or the circumstances of their lives. Tears of gratitude that we as followers of Jesus have the privilege to seize every opportunity to continue to love others & fight for changes that will demonstrate the true heart of God to our generation. Hoag Christmas Tree Hunt 2018🎄
