This past April, we had the opportunity of traveling with @hydesquaretf youth to perform at the National Guild for the Arts Conference in Washington D.C. These young artists from Boston trained over 40 hours after school and over the weekends to create an interdisciplinary piece that is rooted in our culture and community. I’m so proud of their hard work and dedication. Shout out to the arts team, who is pouring into these youth everyday. Thanks to @thelewisprize for making this opportunity possible! Huge shout out to arts team: Genesis, Josie, Juan. Photo credit: Asuquo Eton.
