funnily enough, today - international yoga day - my yoga practice was a trip to @sweathouz followed by lunch at @bread_and_butterfly with my dear @_thicclizzy . deep conversation, gentle movement, & delicious noms really got this day off on the right foot for me. ♨️😋🫶✨

this morning, my yoga practice consisted of sweating profusely while discussing all kinds of life stuff with a dear one. then snackies & more chatting before taking about 18 minutes to transform into my work self. gentle reminder, yoga is more than just an asana practice, y’all. ☺️

what a lovely way to start the day! mindful mantra with @shonaliyoga at @ddyatl this morning was an invitation to explore visshuddha, throat chakra. 💙 this first of the higher chakras, represented by the element ether, the space between us, between our words, moving into the metaphysical… and yet it’s one we can all relate to on a physical level, too. who hasn’t had words catch in their throat? honor your truth, and speak it out loud!

yoga. such a small word for such an huge concept. this year, i leaned in to gratefulness instead of guilt & chased a dream i’ve dreamed for a long time. i completed a 200 hr training with the inimitable @mandyrobertsyoga. now that that training is complete, i feel excited, inspired, encouraged, & capable to share the magic i have within me thru my yoga practice.

i’m brewing up some magic, & i’ll be ready to share it starting nov 18th at @metropolitan_studios_ as an instructor for @atlburlesqueschool. hope to see you on the mat at 10am to soften & shine! ✨ link in bio to sign up!

sacred playground from yesterday at @formyoga. after about a million sun salutations this weekend in YTT, this playful class leading us to handstand kicks (& for a few folx handstand) was a great energetic wrap up to the weekend. thank you again @mandyrobertsyoga for this offering. 💜 & a BIG thanks to @ktob6679 & @baerwaldedan for helping to get me into my first ever handstand, (sorry i didn’t turn the camera in time for yours, dan!) even if it did look mostly like a banana! 🍌
