In June of 2026 the United Nations have declared that Israel has committed acts of Genocide and war crimes in Gaza and the west bank. Global protest push for accountability and end to all aid to Israel. The march for Palestine in New Orleans is one of the protests calling for the end to US involvement in Israel, Boycotts has also been a common theme. Companies such as Chevron and Airbnb have allegedly been supporting and benefitting from the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

This post is a reminder that millions of people all around the world are heavily organizing and showing massive solidarity for the people of Palestine who have been under military occupation since 1947 and the target of a genocidal campaign since 2023. And that number is growing despite attempts from numerous governments to suppress freedoms of speech and assembly. The purported ceasefire has not stopped the killing of thousands of innocent civilians since being brokered, nor has it prevented settlers in the West Bank from violently terrorizing Gazans, anti-Zionist Jews, and journalists. Since 2023, it is estimated that half a million Palestinians have been murdered. This number is triple from what is being reported by the corporate media. We have seen a huge decline worldwide in support for Israel, and for the first time in history the people of Palestine have been un-erased, un-invisible. It has been deemed an apartheid state by the International Court of Justice and the UN. It has been declared that Israel is complicit for the genocide of Palestinians. Under Article 51 of the UN Charter an occupying power cannot invoke the right to military self-defense against threats originating from territory it occupies. The Israeli government has spent over $1 billion on global public relations and messaging operations (aka whitewashing campaigns) since 2023. The use of AI in creating propaganda has been a subject of deep concern, along with the assassination of over 300 journalists and a ban on international press access inside of Gaza. This, too, constitutes as a war crime under international law. With few exceptions, my work documenting this movement over the last 3 years has been unpaid.
