ANBF Showday recap 🇦🇹🏆

Privileged to have shared the stage with such
incredible high caliber level athletes.

Not the result l've been chasing, but given that the
conditioning needs more time, it was a somewhat
foreseeable outcome.

Certain things l've been dealing with after my last show, such as stress, digestive issues, and exposure towards my spraytan allergy, didn't help reflect the work I put into this show either.

I was scheduled to compete at the NBW in Rotherham
next week, but after carefully reevaluating my game
plan, I've decided to keep my shows on hold to let my
body recover a little in order to keep the season going.

Despite the fact that the result doesn't live up to the
standard I've aimed for during this prep, I don't feel
completely disappointed.

Each prep is different, and every show becomes a
learning lesson in the process.

Thankful for all the new experiences this prep has given me so far. Better showings to come

Overall: This time, it wasn’t quite enough.

An amazing experience with valuable lessons learned. Taking those lessons into my final show this Saturday and continuing to improve for next season.

The goal for next season is set: bring home the Overall. 🔥

ANBF - A DAY FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS

16 athletes of the team at one of the biggest natural bodybuilding shows in the world.
-
From a coaching perspective, days like this leave absolutely no room for mistakes.
-
Not with the peak. Not with timing. Not backstage. Not with the small decisions that can ultimately cost placings on a stage of this level.

From the first athlete in the morning until the final Pro classes at night, it was non-stop action.
-

Two new Pros in one day.

And both of them immediately proving they belong at that level.

No team at this show walked away with more success than we did.

Something I’m incredibly proud of not only because of the results, but because days like this are always a team effort.

Die @anbf_natural_bodybuilding gehört zu den kompetitivsten Shows im Natural Bodybuilding. Wenn du hier gewinnst, ist das kein Glück oder Zufall! Aber genau deshalb erreichen viele Athlet:innen dort nicht das Ergebnis, das sie sich erhofft haben.

Dieser Post ist für diejenigen, die mit einem anderen Ergebnis nach Hause gefahren sind, als sie sich gewünscht hatten. 🤍

Du musst deine Enttäuschung nicht kleinreden. Aber lass sie auch nicht rückwirkend alles entwerten, was du bis hierhin geleistet hast!

Eine Platzierung darf dir zeigen, woran du weiterarbeiten kannst und sie darf dich motivieren. Aber sie entscheidet nicht darüber, wie stark deine Entwicklung bis hierhin war oder wie viel langfristiges Potenzial du hast! 💌

ANBF 2026

Nachdem es mittlerweile knapp ein Jahr her ist, dass ich selbst auf der Bühne in der Tips Arena in Linz stand, konnte ich die diesjährige ANBF aus anderer Perspektive verfolgen.
-
Schon bei der Ankunft in Linz habe ich mich direkt ins letzte Jahr zurückversetzt gefühlt. Durch die gleiche Unterkunft wie beim letzten Mal, dem selben Apartment in dem Team Büchner am Freitag die Farbe gemacht hat und natürlich der Wettkampflocation und dem Backstage-Bereich selbst, war das Wochenende geprägt von Flashbacks an den letztjährigen Saisonabschluss.

Vom Wettkampf selbst konnte ich wieder einiges an Motivation mitnehmen, Wahnsinn, wie hoch das Niveau der Show war. Natürlich auch geprägt von Team Büchner, das mal wieder komplett abgerissen und unzählige Finalplatzierungen mitgenommen hat - inklusive Klassensiegen und 2 Overalls. Die Classic-Athleten-Anzahl hat zum letzten Jahr auch nochmal zugelegt. Am Ende gabs dann auch noch zwei erfolgreiche Profi-Debüts und den Sieg der Bodybuilding Pro Klasse von @steinbauer_marcel

Letztes Jahr noch im Anschluss an eine gemeinsame Session in Wien nach ein paar Tagen post-ANBF neben Marcel gestanden. Ohne Restfarbe und Prep-Form, würde ich mich das jetzt auch nicht mehr trauen😂

Nochmal Glückwunsch ans gesamte Team, hat extrem viel Spaß gemacht und ich freue mich schon auf die Evo in 2 Wochen.

Mit der Motivation aus der Show wird nach dem Deload der nächste produktive Mesozyklus der Improvementseason eingeleitet, damit 2028 dann ein stark verbessertes Paket in Linz präsentiert werden kann ⚔️

GBA 2026 - TEAM TB DELIVERED.

A new show.
A new stage.
A new challenge.

Competing at a show for the very first time always comes with a certain level of uncertainty. Different judging, a new location, unfamiliar processes and plenty of things you can only fully assess once you’re actually there.
-
As a coach, adapting to those circumstances is part of the job. And the same goes for the athletes.
-
But what the @gba_ev delivered this weekend was absolutely outstanding.
-
From the stage setup to the organization and the overall atmosphere, everything came together to create an incredible experience for everyone involved.
-
And our athletes made damn sure to deliver on that stage.
