Wellness is more than a routine it’s a commitment to showing up for yourself. 🤍✨ Spent some time at Pause Studio enjoying cryotherapy and the sauna, giving my body a chance to reset and recharge. Because taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. You can’t pour from an empty cup, and prioritizing your well-being is one of the best investments you can make in yourself. 🧖🏽‍♀️❄️🔥

A morning with ALO Wellness Club at 1 Hotel West Hollywood, bringing together movement, recovery and community. The day started with a 3-mile run through West Hollywood with ALO Runners Club led by @louischandlerfit and @olivia.poling, followed by a wellness lounge filled with recovery-focused experiences, from red light therapy and cold plunges to FACEGYM, hydration and more. A DJ set the mood as everyone moved between activations and took time to recharge. The morning wrapped up with a full-body sculpt class led by ALO HQ instructor @stephmatsuba, combining strength, core work and cardio. A different kind of morning routine, all in one place.

What your wellness routine has to do with your hair…

It was so special to be able to run through sunny LA this morning with some super sexy and friendly people with @alowellnessclub

We did 5k then got to recover with some amazing treatments at @1hotel.weho

Did you know…
Increased circulation of blood flow pumps to the hair follicles encouraging healthy hair and growth.
Also, working out and wellness is de-stressing, there has been studies on the connection between stress and premature greying and thinning! (It’s a thing)

Hot people work out x

Thank u for having me @alo

Sycamore Avenue, Part Two. Because this block and a half of Hollywood deserves a two-part series.

Not so long ago, this little stretch was a pretty scruffy extension of Hollywood’s studio backlots, with industrial buildings, warehouses, and very little reason to linger unless you worked in “the industry.” Now it’s become an extraordinary collection of design, art, fashion, and people who are cultural arbiters of all three.

This time I stopped into Retro Specs, where vintage eyewear is treated with the reverence usually reserved for museum pieces; Supervinyl, whose analogue obsession is thriving and beautifully curated; and FAIR, interior designer Brad Ford’s sharply curated showroom of contemporary furniture, lighting, and objects, sharing space with The Hudson Company and its extraordinary collection of reclaimed woods and architectural materials. I even plopped down in an epic Hans Wegner chair, because… you know, you have to try things out.

What I particularly love about Sycamore is that despite the rarefied merchandise, nobody seems to have received the memo about tastemakers being snobby. Everyone is genuinely welcoming, enthusiastic, and happy to share what they know. A SoCal anomaly.

Yet again, Hollywood has reinvented itself more times than a vintage furniture dealer has rediscovered the virtues of burl wood, but this particular incarnation is one of my favorites.
