Hope you got a chance to see this piece before it sold and shipped out to North Carolina. I’ve never seen anything like it. A true piece of Op(tical) Art from the early 1970s. The artist, Thomas Strobel (1941-2001), was from the Chicago area and his obituary was taped to the back of the piece.

Even days off are busy when you’re in the furniture biz 😉 We’re going to be in the Space to Place pop-up through December 31, so come shop often. We’ll be changing it up every week.

We (softly) opened our doors on Lincoln 1 year ago. It has been a whirlwind year getting to know and love this tender old building, our warm neighbors, the creative community, and all of the wonderful families and pups that stroll through our doors and light up our days.

This shop has always been built on the ‘we’ - the community, the team behind the business - but this year that has deepened tenfold. It takes a village to keep a small dream alive. Thank you for being a part of our village.

Special thanks to Annie, Lily, Jes, Aneta, Bella, Mia, and Zach for being our invaluable teammates in this first year.
