One year ago, Los Angeles faced one of the most devastating fire events in its history. On January 7, 2025, extreme Santa Ana winds fueled multiple blazes, most notably the Palisades and Eaton Fires, spreading rapidly through Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, and surrounding communities. The fires burned tens of thousands of acres, destroyed more than 12,000 homes and structures, and forced the evacuation of roughly 200,000 residents. Thousands of families were displaced, and for many, the road to recovery and rebuilding continues even now. Today, we remember the homes lost, the lives disrupted, and the strength it has taken, and still takes, to move forward.

✨ Night of Dreams 2025 ✨ On September 17th, the Dream Center family gathered at the Beverly Hills Hotel to celebrate faithfully serving Los Angeles for 31 years. From testimonies that moved us to tears, to unforgettable music, to seeing God’s faithfulness on full display, it was truly a night to remember. We were honored to present the Dream Award to Tony Robbins for his heart to give hope when our city needed it most. During the LA wildfires, Tony, his wife Sage, and @thetonyrobbinsfoundation gave $1 million in relief, which allowed the Dream Center to bless 100 families with $10,000 checks to rebuild their lives. And together, this year’s Night of Dreams raised $2.8 million so we can keep feeding families, housing those in need, walking with people in recovery, empowering students, and bringing the love of Jesus into every corner of Los Angeles. 💙 Thank you to every sponsor, supporter, and friend who stood with us. Because of you, hope is alive in our city.

When I found out I’d been nominated for the Heroes Award from @ladreamcenter, I also learned I’d be accepting it on stage and sharing a few words. In that moment, I knew I had to say yes, even though public speaking has always been one of my biggest fears. The anxious thoughts came quickly, but so did the conviction that growth only happens when we step into discomfort. Speaking from the heart (even if your voice shakes) is where courage begins. As my dad always reminds me: “They can’t eat you, Pete”. So here’s my challenge to you this week: do something that stretches you. Maybe it’s stepping outside your comfort zone to help someone in need, or simply showing a little extra kindness throughout your day. #ladreamcenter #revellwithacause #becourageous

There’s a family in Texas who jumped in head first with relief efforts when their community was blindsided by the flooding tragedy recently. In the middle of it all, this family had to say goodbye to their sweet dog, Chance. @_revellwithacause connected with me and I had the privilege of donating these Chance look-alikes to their three kids, praying over them + their community as I stitched. While life goes on, there are families whose lives are forever changed and hearts will never be whole again because of this tragedy—let this be our reminder today to continue to remember + support those families and communities, and not take for granted when we have the ability to shift back to normal.
