Herd the news?! 🐮🧡 The @hairyhighlandcoottrail goes live today!

I am so excited to introduce my latest fibreglass friend - this is Maisy!

Maisy Moonro, the adventurous highland cow, gracefully treks the breathtaking Munros of Perthshire. Known for her independence, Maisy plans each climb, always prepared with Mum’s homemade Scottish tablet for the journey.

I’ve realised when painting a @wildinart sculpture you become very attached to your sculpture as you paint and create their personality. Big thanks to Auchterarder Community Action Plan for sponsoring her. Maisy’s new home will be on the high street in Auchterarder for the summer. Pop along, give her a scan and a wee vote!

Download the Hairy Highland COO Trail app from the App Store and get searching for the coos around Perthshire!

So, this year has been exciting for more reasons than one! 🐮🧡

In March this year, I set about painting my next @wildinart sculpture for the @hairyhighlandcootrail in Perth. This trail is launching next week and this time we are raising money for Children’s Hospices Around Scotland @supportchas

I am so excited and proud to be involved in this next trail. I’ll be sharing more bits of the painting process and announcing my cows name and location shortly!

Sending so many thank yous to Neil Lorimer and Allison Higgins who organised and safely collected and returned my cow. To @jake.cranston.9 for lending his muscles! To Dawn & Bruce for providing a painting space for my cow. Mum, who delivered hot water bottles and cups of tea and tablet and @kitchimama and @mandiipopeart for the continuous create encouragement!

One of my favourite commissions last year was the wonderful, beach wandering, cravat wearing, Boris.

I was asked by @maureen_innes_1978 to paint him for her brother & sister in law’s Christmas. Thank you for asking me to paint such a character! 🐐🧡

Has anyone spotted Boris roaming the east beach in Nairn?

Happy Belated New Year! 🎉

Thank you so much for all the support in 2022! I have loved painting all of your furry friends.

Unfortunately, I am suffering with a slipped disc in my back so I’m unable to open my shop at the moment. Keep an eye out, I’ll still be sharing some of the paintings I did in the run up to Christmas!

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2023!

Here is a little 4x4’’ I did of the lovely Jess. 💕

Here are some of my muses with their paintings! 🖼🐶🐱

A wee reminder to customers that there will be a lot of distribution to post in the next 2-3 weeks due to Royal Mail strikes 📮

I will be closing Christmas commissions shortly to make sure everyone gets their furry friends (& geckos, iguanas, budgies etc…) back in time for Christmas! There’s a couple of slots left. Please DM me for availability. 🥰
