What happens when a Porsche meets a California surf shop?

You get this.

Spotted at Cars & Coffee in the Lower East Side, this Porsche 924 has been transformed into a rolling work of art. Hand painted bodywork, custom orange patterned velour throughout the interior, and a surfboard mounted to the roof.

And just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s a skateboard inside, upholstered in matching velour.

Every detail feels intentional, playful, and completely unapologetic.

Forget horsepower figures and lap times. This build is about personality, creativity, and turning a car into something that reflects the person behind the wheel.

Porsche engineering meets surf culture, with a little 70s nostalgia thrown in.

Some cars are built to be driven.
Others are built to make you smile.
This one does both. 🌊

CARAVAN 924

Artist/Owner: @_soxsoul_

A modern interpretation of the Silk Road’s traveling caravans. Inspired by traditional ikat textiles, layered patterns, and centuries of cultural exchange.

Different vehicle, same journey.

The caravan never disappeared. It simply changed its form.

What a great day at the INNESS Car Show!

Brought out my Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth and had an amazing time surrounded by beautiful cars and even better people.

The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. @inness_ny is a beautiful countryside retreat in the Hudson Valley, with stunning views of the Catskills, a golf course, wonderful dining, and an incredible space for bringing people together. A truly special place, and the perfect backdrop for a gathering of classic cars.

What made the day even better was the atmosphere relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely family-like. Old friends, new faces, great conversations, and a shared passion for cars. It felt less like a car show and more like a gathering of friends and family.

A big thank you to @inness_ny, @hudson_valley_drivers_club for putting together such a wonderful event.

Already looking forward to the next one!
