My NY resolutions ???? To not agree with the last meme as much as I do lol, pls tell me I’m not alone.. sorry Cam xx I have quite a few as I’m sure you can imagine, but seeing as this is a fitness account, I figure i’ll tell you one I set 2 years ago that really helped me, Stop, doing, so, dang, much. I don’t mean training, over train if you want, I mean competing. Sure, it’s fun to jump into every fun run, local gym comp, brand event, Turf, Hyrox, Marathon, and everything in between, BUT when I tell you I signed up for 5 events last year, and gave them my ALL.. I’m telllling you, it’s the way forward. So don’t be fooled by all these posts of people showing you their monthly events, weekly events, it’s crazy! It leads to nothing but burn out, injury, or simply not being able to give the individual comp your absolute all.. If you want to do them because you have the money (they add up!!), time, and simply enjoy them, GO FOR IT! BUT if this is the year you’re setting yourself a big scary goal.. lock in.. don’t sway.. understand what has to happen to get yourself there becauuuuse that’s where the MAGIC HAPPENS!!!!! You can experience it all, and have fun along the way, but if there’s a time, weight, team, competition you want to qualify for, achieve, tick off, then something has to give. And if it doesn’t, then the goal isn’t scary enough. Anyway, heres some more pics of me living my life, and I’ll get back to the fitness themed content from now on, probably xxxxxxx Ifffff you want to chat re fitness goals, my DMs are always open ❤️🤝

2025 was full of health & happiness — here are the best bits 🌞 - Those who are close to me will know my Dad wasn’t very well in 2023/24. He’s much better now, and it’s the best thing to happen this year / ever ❤️ - Some incredible hiking — climbing the highest peak in the UAE, Skye, and the Blue Mountains (plus some solo hikes too) - Spending a lot of time with my family, my second family & friends - Getting speedy with running — hitting big PBs & feeling the most confident I’ve ever felt in my body - Being a bridesmaid for Shan & being asked to be part of Kim’s wedding in 2026!! - Turning 30 and getting all my favourites round the table to celebrate, plus a v special surprise trip to Amsterdam - Swimming under the Dubai skyline & cycling the Al Qudra track - Seeing Mum find her thing with cold dips - Becoming a landlord??? - Packing up my life to go and see the world with my person ❤️ Here’s to 2026 🧡

One year you’ve moved to the other side of the world completely alone, no Christmas plans, no NY plans. You’ve left your family, boyfriend, and best friends on the other side of the world, and to be honest, there was no super strong, super amazing reason for it? It was purely what life threw at you at the time. So when times got tough, there wasn’t really a ‘why’ to lean on. Always relying on the gym for some sort of routine, stability, network, and safety, meant joining a gym over here was super tough and made me feel super lonely at the beginning. This was when I decided to do my Ironman, to keep me training hard, doing tough things and proving who I am to myself, but as a way to step out of the gym for a while until I felt more ready to accept it had changed. Fast forward, 2 Christmas’s later, my third ever Christmas in Australia and life couldn’t be more of a fairytale. It goes without saying that I missed my family more than anything, but, Now having spent Christmas Eve with a gym family like never before (Thank you so much Wal, Jlo, and the whole of Beathletic), being invited round with open arms to a family style lunch, then finishing off running across the road to splash in the waves like kids at Freshie beach. To then spending Christmas Day with maybe the biggest friendship group I’ve ever had? That I can truly say I love each individual deeply, esp cause they not only deal with my chaotic energy, incessant need to organise, and plan ‘organised fun’ but make me feel loved for it. ANYWAY!! I could waffle until the cows come home, about how each person has impacted me over the holiday period and always, Jo, Saz, Ryan, Cam, all of you!!!!! BUT I won’t do that, Just know that maybe this year wasn’t your year, maybe next year won’t be either? I’ve had Christmas family breakdowns like you wouldn’t believe, but this is why when a good one happens, you have to cherish it, live for each and every moment, and thank your lucky stars. Christmas is a crazy ol time of year, and boy was this one special xxxxxxxxxx 2026 is for smiling more, laughing loud, and feeling deeper !! Emz xxo
