This month is Seasons of Self’s 1st lap around the Sun! 🌞🥳

Such deep gratitude! We can’t believe a whole year has gone by of offerings that has supported the community to connect with nature and each other. What a pleasure to work alongside these wonderful wāhine and to create deeply heartfelt retreats that nourish your nervous system, your hauora and create a safe space to connect with likeminded people. From what started as a seed, now rooted and nourished, we are feeling the fruits of this mahi more than we could have ever imagined and what a year it has been. Celebrating not only us but all of you for being a part of this beautiful experience. Stay tuned for what’s launching next! And a huge thank you for being here to witness and co-create the journey 🌱

Happy Lunar New Year in Chinese Astrology. As we transition to the year of the Fire Horse, which carries strong Yang energy, we send you well wishes of what this year will bring. 🔥 This is a powerful new cycle. May this year awaken your inner fire! Be bold and brave. May this energy amplify your courage, your voice and your spark!

Last year brought deep transformation, shedding old patterns and old energy to make room for new life beyond what we know to be. Let that become the fuel for growth, expansion and acceleration for new beginnings this year.

We reflect on what this last year was for us. Seasons of Self started on a journey as a seed, a simple walk on the beach with 3 like-minded friends. With a dream to bring about holistic experiences to the community in Kāpiti and wider Wellington. We’ve seen this seed shift and transform, highlighting to us what the calling is about and where the golden thread is taking us. This year, the fire is asking us to acknowledge the momentum. To bring more of what we are cultivating into light. To expand our offerings, and to touch more hearts doing so. We are excited for this collective energy and what that will bring about. Collaborating with and for the community. Reminding you what you are already capable of when you take the time to look after yourself.

This movement is an inner revolution. One that asks you to tend to yourself differently as you’ve outgrown your old skin. The Horse has one of the largest hearts of the animal kingdom, the heart channel is represented by the element of Fire. Tend to your heart; move from your heart, and lean into heart-led projects this year. This Emperor Organ in Chinese Medicine houses the Shen - (your spirit, consciousness, joy).

This time feels rich, alive and aligned! We are so excited to connect with you on new offerings and opportunities. And can’t wait to see what this energy brings about for you. 🌚🌝🐎🐍🧧

Sunwoven women’s summer day retreat 🌞 such a special day of co-creation, beauty, and joy! We journeyed through our orientation on the wheel of the year, celebrating Lammas, the halfway point between summer solstice and Autumn equinox ~ a time to reflect on the harvest, and set intentions for the waning months ahead 🌖 we sat in circle, foraged, created an altar offering, danced, sang by the fire, swam in the river, & and just bathed in the magic and medicine of women gathering together, heart centred and present.

So grateful to have woven the strings of this event with beautiful sisters @earthic.wisdom & @_samtait_ 🌀✨
