Last Sunday, “Archaeological Walk Through Murano Glass Waste” took place as part of the closing weekend of the 10th edition of @theveniceglassweek .
Our deepest thanks to everyone who joined us in the field, bringing their attention, curiosity and sensitivity to a place that continues to reveal itself differently each time it is encountered.

Thank you to @marina____marques for curating the project with the extraordinary care and attention she brings to everything she does, to @laurapanchaud for understanding our view and for hosting this encounter with sensitivity inside of @lawwa.lawwa project.
Thank you to @anitaindiependent for her essential contribution and for guiding us through the botanical evolution of this spontaneous landscape, tracing the forms of life that have gradually grown alongside - and through - the remains of Murano glass.

Our gratitude also goes to @tommasomacelloni for his constant and invaluable help, to @_santor0 for documenting the day through these beautiful photographs, and to @ninnnof for capturing the experience on film.

Thank you @huangxiaozhe_studio , Luis, Pier, @leonardodubois , Seba, Giulio, Giovanni and thank you to everyone who contributed, visibly and invisibly, to making this day possible.

(More from the field coming soon)

At @museocapesaro, @giuseppediliber Imagines the End as Waiting

‘Per sempre, fino alla fine’ is the new site-specific installation by Giuseppe Di Liberto, on view in the Project Room of Ca’ Pesaro – Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna in Venice.

Conceived as an immersive environment, the exhibition explores the idea of the end not as a definitive event, but as a suspended condition of waiting. At its centre, a monumental concrete slab periodically reveals and conceals an image activated by a fine mist, transforming sculpture into a ritual of appearance and disappearance. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, the work unfolds through cycles of emergence, inviting viewers to inhabit a space where permanence and loss continuously coexist.

Developed in dialogue with Venice, the installation draws on the city’s fragile condition and layered history. A bespoke fragrance by perfumer avasandra_ infused with notes of charcoal and burnt wood, expands the work into the sensory realm, while archival references to fifteenth-century Venetian printing traditions connect historical memory with contemporary anxieties.

Accompanying the installation is a catalogue designed by @wltrae, presented as part of the exhibition through a display that echoes the project’s atmosphere of instability and tension. Presented within the Polifonie italiane programme, Per sempre, fino alla fine becomes an environmental experience where time itself is treated as material and precarity emerges as a generative force rather than a final condition.
