It’s such a joy to walk into a store and spot someone using our products! 🐾 We started chatting and asked how she liked her bag. She told us she bought her calming pet carrier and several liners a few years ago and still uses it every day and her active pup loves it. At the end of our conversation, I smiled and told her, “It’s our company!” She was overjoyed—and so were we! ❤️ Moments like these mean so much to us. That’s the quality you can expect from Louie de Coton®: thoughtfully made products to enjoy for years, toxic-free and made in 🇺🇸 Available on www.louiedc.com #louiedecoton #madeinwa #dogcarrier #dogbag #smalldogs @louiedecoton @_seattlemade

My cats loved the bookmark (they tried eating it) 😅🫶 This was such a blast, and the community energy was wonderful. I even got to chat with someone new who found the event simply by searching online for local crafty events! Not only were all of the vendors incredibly creative, but it’s clear that each of them value sustainability. Whether it was making jewelry with reclaimed china or repurposing t-shirts into comfortable underwear, everyone had a unique way of supporting the environment 💚 If you haven’t already heard of ‘em, please check out the fabulous vendors who tabled at the event: 🔖 @craftlabseattle: craftlabseattle.com 🧤 @kitten_mittens_club: kittenmittensclub.com 📿 @artcycled: artcycled.com 🎀 @birdcraftstudio: birdcraftstudio.com 🪡 @refugeesarts: refugeesarts.org 🧵 @redesign_collective: redesign-collective.com 🩲 @up_and_undies: upandundies.com Make sure to also explore Reuse Commons Lake City (12558 Lake City Way NE, Seattle) during open hours: Thursday: 2–6pm Saturday: 12–4pm @reusecommons is a network of reuse, repair, and share hubs across Seattle, creating convenient community destinations where people can rent, buy, repair, and share everyday items. 🤝 Reuse Commons: reusecommons.org @_seattlemade is a program of @goodbusiness.wa.

Taste of the Sound brought Seattle’s local food and beverage community together for an evening of connection, discovery, and support for small businesses. Held at Fishermen’s Terminal, this outdoor waterfront event showcased more than 75 Washington food and beverage makers, including producers of seafood, artisan cheese, charcuterie, specialty foods, beer, wine, spirits, cider, coffee, sauces, sweets, and more. Guests had the opportunity to sample products, meet the people behind the brands, discover new favorites, and purchase products to take home. What made Taste of the Sound especially meaningful was the focus on relationships. Events like this create valuable opportunities for small business owners to connect directly with customers, introduce their products to new audiences, build brand recognition, and form partnerships with other makers, chefs, retailers, community organizations, and local supporters. For entrepreneurs and small business advocates, Taste of the Sound offered more than an enjoyable night out. It was a reminder that visibility matters, relationships matter, and direct community engagement can help independent businesses grow. #SeattleAgenda #TasteOfTheSound #SeattleSmallBusiness #SupportLocal #WashingtonMakers
