Stories help us make sense of our lives.

The wedding day is beautiful.

But it’s the journey—the people, places, conversations, challenges, growth, and memories that came before it—that gives the day its meaning.

This is why I believe every love story deserves to be remembered.

The wedding day is only one chapter.

The story is what gives it meaning.

It was one of those moments where you stop and think… How did we get here?

When you’ve been together since middle school, it’s a question that hits different. Two kids who grew up side by side—now standing on the edge of forever, engaged, and building a life together.

That’s Sidney and Garrett. A story shaped by time, friendship, faith, and a bond that stayed steady through every season. What a beautiful connection to witness.

From middle school crush to covenant love.

Wow what a journey for these two. What began with an awkward walk through the woods at a church cookout turned into a once-in-a-lifetime love story. Sidney and Garrett noticed each other long before they ever spoke, and by eighth grade, shy conversations and a first kiss marked the beginning of their journey as middle school sweethearts.

Through high school milestones, senior year challenges, and long talks about the future, they never stopped choosing one another. Guided by faith and surrounded by family and friends who have been cheering them on since the very beginning, Sidney and Garrett returned to the church where their story first bloomed to promise forever.

Their wedding day at Woodland Heights and celebration at JLH Wedding Barn captured not just a day, but a lifetime in the making — a testament that young love can grow, endure, and become a forever love story.

He didn’t even need to see her face before the tears came. The weight of years, memories, and love hit all at once—and this moment was pure, holy, and unforgettable. A father seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time. There’s nothing like it.
