Casstasia my lovelies.... Anastasia was quite literally designed for Cassia

There is a overlooming threat of genetic diseases in their universe, everyone has genetic disease but some people just have more niche genetic diseases from broken DNA. There's cures for some of the more common DNA mismatches, but if you have an uncommon mismatch, nothing can be done. Cassia happens to have a unique genetic disorder, that she's unable to solve

Anastasia's childhood was essentially being a patient zero for experimental DNA treatment. Medical companies thought if they could craft the perfect DNA, it could be used to cure everyone else. The project failed, and Anastasia was one of the survivors who had her DNA engineered to make his body so efficient, it ended up circling around and disabled him at the opposite end of the spectrum. Anastasia does not remember this happening to him

While not being made *directly* for Cassia, cassia falls into the group that Anastasia's DNA would have cured. Despite being a failed experiment, Anastasia still ended up devoting himself to attempting to save Cassia

Oh man I never posted my artfight backlog 💔
My goal was definitely to work on coloring this year and I’m really proud of how all of these turned out. I also did my first mass attack and while it took me forever it’s probably one of the cutest things I’ve ever drawn 😭
