Turks and Caicos has some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen 😍 The water is that crystal-clear shade of blue you almost don’t believe is real.
The food is really good too, though I did a terrible job of capturing it. Definitely make your way to @mrgrouperrestaurant…10/10.

We had a great time overall—fun days, a little nightlife, and the perfect mix of relaxing and vibing. Only thing I’ll say is hotels can be very expensive, so we found a really nice Airbnb.

Already looking forward to going back ✈️🌴✨

Finally finished my 2025 recap! It only took me about 13 hours… but I digress.

2025 was a busy year. Lots of travel—which was absolutely a highlight—and a lot of time spent with family, which was another. Some of that family time came under difficult circumstances, though. I lost my father this past year, and that was without question the lowest point of 2025.

But overall, I’d say it was a good year. One filled with growth, love, laughter, and moments I’ll always hold close. Grateful for the memories, the people, and the experiences that carried me through—and excited to make 2026 even better 🤗

One of the most fun things I did this year was go tubing in Turks & Caicos. Easily one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve had in a long time.

But this video looks so calm compared to what was actually happening. We were getting tossed UP, DOWN, side to side — and somehow the video picked up none of the chaos. 😂

What you don’t see (or hear) is that we were screaming the entire time. 😂

10/10 would do it again.

A few pics from my time in Grasse, France—a cute and charming town in the French Riviera that’s famous for its perfume. 🌸 One of the highlights of my trip was taking a class and learning how to create my very own perfume at @galimard_parfumeur! It’s called Le Chimère and it’s coming to a store near you 😆

Grasse had the cutest pink umbrellas strung across the streets, providing the potential for really fun photos, but the skies were overcast and it had just rained when we arrived. ☂️💕 Hopefully, I can come back one day to capture some really great shots.

Ibiza—hands down the highlight of my Eurotrip. Honestly, after experiencing Ibiza, everything else felt like it just couldn’t quite measure up.

We stayed at the Amàre Beach Hotel, and it was absolutely stunning. The grounds were gorgeous, and the hotel was very colorful. At every turn there were these bright, colorful murals, even on the elevators. There were two pools on the ground level and there was live music every day. There was also a rooftop pool and bar, and the hotel was walking distance from a bunch of restaurants and cute shops.

Our stay came with a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning, which included mimosas. I also received a complimentary bottle of Champagne for my birthday.

Overall, the hotel had everything you’d want in a luxury beach resort, and I’d definitely go back.

That said, this hotel is a little bit pricey and it’s located further out from most of the main clubs, like Ushuaia, Hi, and Pacha. So if you’re looking for a prime party location, this might not be the best place. But it never took us longer than 30-minutes to get anywhere and I didn’t mind the drive since we were returning to such a fabulous hotel.

I am my father’s lineage, but his legacy goes far beyond anything to do with me. He was a LEGEND!! As a teenager in the late 50s and early 60s, he was the first Black athlete in the schools history to gain prominence and recognition, earning a full scholarship to college. He was a founding father of the original Martin Luther King Community Center on Long Island in Long Beach, NY. This is the same community center where we had his 2nd memorial service (cuz my daddy knew he needed two). It was only right to bring him back home.
For years, I lived across the street from a community park. I played there almost everyday as a child. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I found out my father was responsible for that very playground being there. At one point, it was a lot with sand and unsafe equipment. After protests, petitions, and some hell raising, my father and his friends got the playground updated and modernized. They also had a stop light installed in the community and had the city clean up our beach. I could go on and on about the things he did in his lifetime, but just that tidbit bit of info is enough to let yall know who he was and what he did!!
My dad was one of a kind. In the first 40 years of his life, he accomplished more than 10 people will accomplish in a lifetime.
In the second half of his life, he relaxed. He did the things he enjoyed. He deserved it. His love for jazz led him to photography. From Dizzy Gillespie to Samara Joy, he captured 100s of jazz artists over the years. He knew the importance of preserving our culture… Jazz belongs to US!! At the memorial service, I heard so many stories about my dad that I never heard. My dad meant many things to many people but to me, he was just dad! This video collage is a result of many conversations with my father at the kitchen table. I would secretly record him talking bc I knew the info would be important one day. He was so full of knowledge. He was actually curating his memorial service in the audio.

Fam, I was headed to Miami Beach to attend @americanblackfilmfestival but due to several cancelled flights, I spent the night in Dallas. WOWWWW!! What fun was had!!
