Rolling through the hills around Ourique, Portugal. Warming up for the Alentejo UCI gravel race. 5 star gravel, sunshine and blue skies 😎

120km of gravel racing ahead, after a challenging week of closing up the busy shop, travelling over 2000km and, unfortunately, falling ill. It's hard to say what the morning will bring. At 9am we line up! 🤞

Ever used a Brake Alignment Tool? Here’s how it works!

Tired of rubbing disc brakes? The @absoluteblack.cc Brake Alignment Tool makes aligning your brake caliper quick and easy.

Here’s the step-by-step process:

1. Loosen the caliper bolts – Allow the caliper to move freely.
2. Insert the alignment tool – Place it between the brake pads and the disc.
3. Squeeze the brake lever – Hold it to center the caliper.
4. Tighten the caliper bolts – Secure them to the recommended torque while holding the brake lever.
5. Remove the alignment tool – Carefully take it out.
6. Spin the wheel – Check that the disc rotates freely without rubbing.

I also upgraded the setup with titanium caliper bolts for that extra finishing touch.

Small details make a big difference!

Have you ever used a tool like this?

HG Cross Meulebeke,

Super start, begon goed op te schuiven totdat opeens het kaarsje uitging😔.

Deze dagen zitten er ook tussen🤞🤷‍♂️

A very early start this morning as I had 20km to the start of the Marcha Ciclosfest in Montanejos.
Had a lucky escape when a huge wild boar ran out in front of me, but luckily it was no more than a scare!

After doing all the obligatory sign in things and finding coffee it was a mass start at 8.30am. Definitely a bit cold to begin with but it soon warmed up and I just found some wheels to follow before then being on my own for around 35km to the finish.
4hr10m, 113km /2,100m

The event is all part of a weekends cycling where there is a bit of mtb and a Chrono tomorrow. The organisation is top class. A riders bag with energy bits from @nutrinovex, oranges, protein drink etc. The two feed stations were fantastic with lots of choices, and then at the end it was fideu and drinks too. The Spanish cycling events are always first class!

Finally it was time to ride the 20km back. For the time of year, location, amazing route and organisation you couldn't ask for a better sportive to add to your calendar for next year!

Massive thanks to @ciclosfestmontanejos @atloseventos @ayuntamiento_montanejos_ for putting on such a great event.

What if your lights could react to your watts?

Taking my @gozwift attic to the next level!

Thanks to @lightmywatts and @philipshomelivingbe , my indoor setup now reacts to my effort in real time.

Easy watts? Cool blue.
Full gas? The room turns red.

Turning every workout into a whole new experience.

Would you add this to your indoor cycling setup?

Riding down the coast to Gandia, I thought I would check out the new Rali store @ralistore_spain
Was really impressed by the bikes on display. I certainly had an eye on that gravel bike! 😉
Climbing La Drova and the smooth descent to Simat is always good fun too!
