#howitstartedvshowitsgoing Honestly I am nothing without the people in that second slide 💛 I don’t remember who took that photo of me in 2021 but it was in that shoebox of a studio in #brisbane with all these goals and dreams of what can be and should be! I knew I needed to start and I knew I had BIG GLOBAL goals and here I am writing this on a train from #london to #paris two studios later, 875 books globally donated and the most epic team and clients you could ask for! I knew at 35 my life truly started and at 38 it’s not even close to where I know I can be and where I’m headed so we can all thrive and grow together! For anyone out there reading this, not to tell you how to be or what to do but if I can pass a tiny bit of wisdom I would say please create your own path, DO NOT stray, be clear, stay out of peoples drama and bulshit, take care of your mind body and soul and DO NOT follow the crowd, know that you are living in abundance always just call upon it through manifestation, clarity and know you are always your own biggest champion!! Likeeee honestly love yooo damn self with so much gratitude and joy! I got loads more to learn and I can’t freakn wait!! THANKYOU ALL!! Soo sooo much love Thankyou all TRULY!

Cinematic Dance | Inspired by Dune ✹ Taking Kat’s personal branding session into a more cinematic world. Inspired by the atmosphere and movement of Dune, we created these dramatic dance portraits using a combination of LED lighting, strobe, and motion blur. The slow shutter allowed the movement of Kat’s body and fabric to flow through the frame, while the strobe captured moments of sharpness within the movement. The LED lights added colour, atmosphere, and that cinematic feeling. We also created dance videos, and for some of the shots I used a simple water spray bottle to create a misty effect as the light passed through the droplets. ✹ I love experimenting with light, movement, and simple elements to create something unexpected. This is what makes a personal branding photography and video session so much more than a collection of headshots. It gives you the opportunity to create imagery that expresses your personality, creativity, and story. Thank you, Kat, for trusting me to bring these ideas to life. đŸ’« #PersonalBrandingPhotography #PersonalBrandingVideo #CreativeBranding #CinematicPortrait #DancePhotography

Creative Branding Shoot Behind the scenes of a personal branding photography and video session with the talented Brisbane artist and dance coach, @katwasiel This was our second time creating together, and it was such a pleasure to design fresh visual content for Kat’s new website. A strong personal brand is more than a professional headshot—it’s about showing your personality, passion, and story. For this session, we created a collection of branding portraits, outdoor images, and dance videos to showcase Kat’s creativity and movement. For this studio setup, I used a dark brown backdrop with two LED lights—red and yellow—to create warmth and atmosphere. A strobe with a slim rectangular softbox and grid allowed me to control the light and keep the focus on Kat. To create the movement in these portraits, I introduced a flowing red fabric, used a fan to enhance the movement, and combined slow shutter speed with camera movement. The LED lights captured the motion and the strobe froze Kat’s expression, creating artistic images full of energy and emotion. In the behind-the-scenes video, you’ll see the creative process behind the final portraits—and the movement, experimentation, and technique that bring an idea to life. I love working with fellow creatives who trust the process. When we collaborate with an open mind, we can create something unique and authentic. Thank you, Kat, for another inspiring session. I can’t wait to see your new website come to life! ✹ Personal branding photography and video can help your audience see not only what you do, but who you are. Which final image is your favourite? Gear: Nikon z6iii, Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8s, Lighting gear: Godox, Neewer #PersonalBrandingPhotography #PersonalBrandingPhotographer #brandphotography

Movement coaching for singers: Ariana Grande’s “Into You” has that build-and-release energy, which is perfect for teaching singers how to move without losing breath support. Today’s tutorial: 3 simple moves you can layer into the chorus energy while keeping your vocal foundation solid. Tutorial breakdown: Remember to prepare the last 8 counts before the Chorus starts - with a walk on the spot, or hip-sway. Chorus: 1. Kick-ball-change - Warm ups up the body & crowd, with staccato vocals for higher energy execution. Microphone comes closer to the mouth. 2. Hip Circles - small hip isolations, moving around in a circle slows down & deepens vocals for more emotion. Keep biceps firm on mic. ** Key tip, turning to the back adds drama when you look back to the front & gives you time to prepare for next section or mirror the Chorus’ build. 3. The release walk - release the hips as you walk off - core engaged so breath doesn’t drop. ** Coaching note: the goal isn’t dancing while singing - it’s finding movement that supports your breath.
