Closing alert 🚨🚨🚨 Congratulations Starlon,

They not cut from the same cloth as you, people in your situation rarely make it through. We wishing some of the homies could see this day, you are an example of living out the things mama prayed. Our days at RCTC we were sleeping on couches trying to find our purpose. We went our separate ways but we both ended up having careers in service. To say I’m proud of you is the least I can do, walking with you through this process was easy and smooth. Knowing you, I am going to come to your house in a month, and you are going to have a pool. I expect nothing less, it’s all love and respect. Keep on your trajectory you a shooting star. I’m a call away never far. You know I am going to always encourage you to seek the Lord, He is truly the reason we can soar.

Hallelujah all praise be to my Father.

What a six day eventful jiu-jitsu experience. I stepped back into the competition scene for the first time in about 10 years against someone I used to train with. Thank you @ryanboykee for the match. Then I received my first degree stripe from my longtime coach and friend Mauricio! Thank you to everyone who has helped me in the never ending journey of being a martial artist! #thankyou #jiujitsu #martialarts

Once again truly blessed and honored to have such a terrific and supportive team. Although there is only one individual in the ring or cage, we are never alone at The Cellar! Fight as a Family! #thecellargym #mma #support #ignite #honored #blessed #family #fight #fighter #neveralone #muaythai

Starlon Pruitt made his MMA debut tonight, stepping into one of the toughest competitions known to man. He suffered a first-round TKO in what we felt was an early stoppage. But ultimately, it was the right call. This sport is unforgiving, especially in those small gloves.

We know what we need to work on, and Starlon will be back sharper and stronger. Every fighter remembers their first, what matters most is how you grow from it.
