This will be my first Hyrox race today at Hyrox Tampa! But I would be remiss to not talk about “Hyrox” from Monster Games!

Extremely hot July day, total meltdown at the pool event before had, a ruck run to start and a heavy sandbag lunge to finish. If you completed this event you know what a slog it was. It was truly an event I’ll never forget.

Primal Mobility and the End Range Program to keep my body right no matter how many times I need to start over.

Life has been TOUGH recently and I aim for transparency as much as possible. I haven’t worked out as much as I’d like, I haven’t made as much business progress as I’d like, and I haven’t made as much weightloss progress as I’d like.

I’m choosing to prioritize my good habits:
•8K-10K steps daily
•Homemade meals daily
• @primal.mobility and the End Range Program

The fastest way out is through 🌀🌀🌀

Aaron’s first muscle up!!!

A couple months ago @aaronclatray came to me asking for a few drills to learn a muscle up. I send him a few links, and showed him so strength builders. He has chipped away, but no success yet.

Today he came and joined class where I took those drills put them in a procession and all 3 boys got muscle ups but today Aaron got his first. First muscle ups are my favorite thing to coach! Sound on for full reaction!!

Feels very vulnerable to share: one of my biggest goals is to create an environment where people intentionally gather to move their bodies and chat about their health and fitness goals.
.
Where most gatherings are a place to over indulge and consume media I want to create a space for the opposite. No screens, no over consumption, just connection. Connecting with the environment and with each other.
.
I’ve been so blessed to be able to be a Community Captain with @1stphorm who is helping me make this goal a reality.
.
I hope each month this ruck club continues it grows. I hope you tell someone that this happens and you want to try. I hope you get brave enough to try something new. I hope you invite likeminded people to a new kind of gathering. I hope we continue to create spaces to talk with people and share ideas. November 12th at 5:30p is our next meet up I would love to see you there!

On Saturday Night I had the surprise of a life time 🤍

Steven promised me a night of dancing and some sweet treats but in reality he and Savannah threw me a surprise wedding reception ✨🤍
.

To say I was surprised would be the understatement of the century. I have never felt so much love in my life. All the little details from our wedding photos, to all my favorite foods, songs, and cake were there. I got the first dance and wedding cake of my dreams and to celebrate with so many people I love.
.
To be honest I’m not sure it’s fully sunk in, but I am so glad I embraced the night- and I don’t think anything will top the love I have been feeling since Saturday.
.
I am so incredibly thankful to all who were there and everyone that pitched in to not only celebrate Steven and I but to keep it a surprise. I just don’t have the words to describe how lucky I feel. 💗🤍🍀

For any of my athletes, who spent a lot of time doing strength work during the off-season usually we pull the full Olympic lift variations out of their training. Generally, this allows them to squat more and squat heavier, but it also means that when they go back to full Olympic lifting they need to readjust to how the bar moves with their new strength gains. I really like to use moderate to tough doubles and triples because it helps the athlete. Get a bunch of practice reps in and gives them a lot of opportunities to acclimate to the full Olympic lift before we start really pushing for heavy singles.
