This time last week, I spoke at @becomingadefunkeeeacademy hair masterclass. It’s amazing to see financial literacy conversations happen in the informal sector. I loved that stylists weren’t just learning how to upgrade their skills but also learning what to do with the money they earn. The topic was my favorite, Building Wealth Beyond the Chair: Investing & Diversifying Income as a Hairstylist.

@adefunkeee also shared her money journey and together we were able to create a plan for how informal sector can still grow and invest their money despite the inconsistent income.

Thank you @adefunkeee for having me and @_theaimee for facilitating this masterclass. I can’t wait to have more financial conversations with people across diverse sectors.

It was beyond a masterclass alone, getting to connect and network with industry colleagues from different parts of the of the world was a wonderful experience too.

Anyways trust me to always bring the fun out of every opportunity 😉😍

🚨 WE DID A THING! 🚨

Say hello to our very own show: VIBES AND VIEWS WITH BLUXIES
The group chat went deep, but on camera. The girls sat down, got real, and said what needed to be said.

It’s for the girlies. It’s for the boys.
It’s real. It’s honest. It’s raw. It’s deep. It’s relatable.

And the best part?

EPISODE ONE IS OUT ON YOUTUBE ‼️

Go watch it. Feel it. Share it. Loud it.

And as always? LEAVE DOINGS FOR BLUXIES! 🔥
