A little look inside my class today… I had to jump in on the fun. Strength time: This is called a “Power Matrix”. It’s a strength method built off progressive loading used in powerlifting systems like Jim Wendler style training. The goal isn’t just to lift heavy… It’s to build into heavy weight the right way. You move through different rep ranges in one session so your body learns how to: • Control the weight • Produce power • Stay strong under fatigue ⸻ Most people stay in one rep range. This forces you to be strong at ALL of them. Higher reps build control Mid reps build strength Low reps test power Then going back down challenges your endurance ⸻ Here’s how I ran mine today (Bench): Started higher than most… 8 reps @ 130 5 reps @ 150 3 reps @ 160 1 rep @ 170 Then back down ⸻ Why I start at 8 reps: I want the muscle activated FIRST I want clean reps BEFORE heavy weight And I want that last set to actually mean something ⸻ This isn’t random lifting. This is structure. Strength first Then we test it 💪🏽 See my next post for the rest of today’s workout ⸻ Phoenix come train with me 2 week trial running right now DM TRIAL and I’ll get you set up .#. . #Tru2uFitness #CoachNayD #PhoenixFitness #PhoenixTrainers AhwatukeeFitness ChandlerAZFitness

Strength before sweat today. Started the session building power with a strength circuit, pushing my deadlift up to 280 lbs (about 85% of my 1RM) before moving into the actual workout. Today’s lineup: • Deadlifts – 185 lbs working sets • Zercher Sissy Squats – 85 lb barbell • Overhead Walking Lunges – 35 lb dumbbells • Hip Thrusts – 185 lbs .Nice Controlled reps today nothing crazy lol. Then finished it off with a solid stretch to recover and reset. #StrengthTraining #LegDayWork #DeadliftStrong #WomenWhoLift #coachnayd
