Every step in the process leads the way for the next. It is impossible to get perfect stitching without first perfecting your glued seams.

Do you prefer the stitching to match the color of your suit or do you prefer contrast to make it easier for your buddy to spot you underwater?

This custom wetsuit is made from Yamamoto 39 and features gold stitching to add more contrast underwater.

This video is from our recent training session in April 2026.

We have been trying to host more and more sessions of line training for local freedivers to come out, work on their progression, & get coaching! With a professional rig that has 4 floats, 4 lines, and plenty of depth... We have all the professional tools to get more people in the water! Local instructors are always on the dive rig either teaching, coaching, or being a safety on your next dive!

Whether you're an FII, Padi, PFI, SSI, or Molchanov freediver, you're welcome to join our training sessions and start progressing! We're all divers just trying to find more like minded people. We're trying to build a community to make new friends, and dive the safest way possible!

Reach out via Instagram, email, or stop into the Hypoxic Hunters dive shop in Fort Lauderdale to get more info / sign up to join us!

**During training sessions, you're allowed the max depth of your certification level. This also means you must hold a freediving certification to join. We also offer classes if you need your first one, or want to start diving deeper.

Here at the shop, we pride ourselves with keeping up to date with everything happening in the freediving and spearfishing world.

Sometimes we have slow days, just like everyone else. These are the days where we work on improving equipment, building new ideas, or simply making stuff that already exists.

It can be difficult to find parts for specific pieces of equipment, or it may even get discontinued. I'm sure we've all had one of our favorite pieces of equipment end up discontinued. What if we would have thought ahead to be prepared for that day? Instead, we usually end up going with the next best thing.

This week we got the new Cetma inverted rollers in our shop and today was slow. So we decided to model the inverted anchor point to convert traditional guns.

With the ever growing want for inverted rollers, it's important to be ahead of how to build them correctly and make some of the fastest most powerful spearguns available.

We 3d printed this anchor to test fitment and everything, and now we can put it on a machine to make a full strength part!

If you have any ideas you'd like to make into a product for the sport, reach out to us and we may be able to help!

Congratulations to Zach on his 6Lb dolphin taking first place this weekend in our every Saturday tournament. He won a $300 gift certificate here at the shop. Stay tuned for next week as it’s back to $100.

Instagram doesn't recommend videos over 3:00 to new people, so if you're seeing this, it was meant for you to see. Whether it just popped up on your page, or a friend sent it to you. It was meant to reach your phone.

Most people don't realize that they already have the ability to freedive deeper than they thought. Not only that, but how quickly, easy, and safely they can achieve this as well!

FII, Freediving instructors international, is designed to help you understand how to unlock this ability in the safest way possible. In just a few courses, you would be surprised just how much of a. Aquatic animal you can become!

We try to have a wide range of different class options to fill everyone's needs here in Fort Lauderdale to make more classes readily available. We not only teach here, we also travel to teach as well to make it easier than ever before to get the info to people who may not have the ability themselves to travel.

Join us this summer for a healthy amount of classes offered! We have a base list of classes listed throughout the whole summer, but also leave room for private freediving courses, as well as offering line training sessions.

You may never know the impact you have on someone. What you teach them could become their passion. A love for something they didn't even know existed.

A spark of curiosity created by something unknown. Videos of spearfishers or tribes of people living off the ocean making you feel a sense of freedom you yearn for. This is the power of the ocean. Calling to us.

What seemed impossible 20 years ago, is now easily accessible in our everyday lives. Instructors teaching students how to safely enjoy the wonders of the ocean. Learning that you have this natural ability to become part of an environment that once felt foreign.

This sport is constantly growing and new limitations being pushed. From all different swims of life, there are like minded people finding out what they are truly capable of.

As instructors, we help guide people in achieving this. Whether it's sitting in class listening to a bunch of theory, seeing the results in the practical, or simply making jokes about getting stuck in wetsuits.. the experience from a well put together class is like no other experience out there.
