✔️💣Closing the night with some relentless energy and craftsmanship from @octaveparangomusic

If you’ve been to the Temple before, you know you’re in for a treat with Octave Parango.

A DJ and producer with a special place for techno in his heart. Octave’s musical journey began at least 15 years ago with his brother’s Hardcore Gabber record collection, eventually taking him deep into the techno scene in Lille, France.

From playing bars, clubs, radio and festivals to joining Enlace Records and releasing several EPs, Octave has shared stages with big names including Carl Craig, Octave One, FJAAK, Radio Slave and Alan Fitzpatrick.

Since landing in New Zealand in 2019, he’s become a familiar face on the Christchurch techno scene — and a big part of the Temple family.

His techno sets are melodic, energetic and completely tuned into the dancefloor. 🖤

🔥🙏Our techno ALL NIGHT continues with @cosmik.dj , traveling down from Wānaka to bless us with his music.

Cosmik emerged as a selector and event promoter in the UK’s underground nightclub and rave scene in the early 2010’s before bringing his love of gritty, hypnotising electronic music to Aotearoa nearly a decade ago.

Since then, he’s played across the festival, bush party and underground scene, including Ignition Festival, Kiwiburn, Yatra Festival, Technomatic, Big Ol Doof, Metamorphosis, Polar Pulse, as well as Temple of Techno in Ōtepoti/ Dunedin.

Emotionally charged yet grounded in the physicality of the dancefloor, Cosmik’s selections flit between chaotic thunder and hypnotising passages — an eclectic soundscape shaped by a deep affinity for techno’s more experimental edges.

For this particular set, he’ll be leaning into the rawer, more driving part of his collection, and we just can’t wait. 🖤
