Happy National Coaches Day‼️

Whether it’s the bond from Parents coaching their child or just wanting to give back to the community. Your time, your words, and your attendance matters.

🎬 BEAR WITNESS: A TURNER STORY
EPISODE ONE - [Before They See Us.]

Twenty years doesn’t fit on a scoreboard.

The setbacks. The sacrifices. The prayers nobody heard. The discipline to keep showing up when the results gave you every reason not to.

From player development & game prep to program operations, branding, community partnerships, and creating opportunities for our athletes, Coach Lane believes every detail contributes to building a championship-level culture.

His approach is centered around bringing energy every day, holding players accountable, and preparing young men to succeed beyond the basketball court.

His philosophy says it all:

💬 “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.”

The mission continues. Raise the standard. Build the culture. Prepare the next generation.

What started as conversations, planning, emails, meetings, and believing in something bigger than ourselves has officially come to life. The Turner Bears Basketball Program is beyond grateful for the incredible support from DICK’S Sporting Goods and everyone who helped make this moment possible.

Today is bigger than basketball. On behalf of the Turner Bears Basketball team, we want to sincerely thank DICK’S Sporting Goods and the Sports Matter Grant for believing in our student-athletes and investing back into our community.

Receiving this grant means more than new equipment or uniforms. It means opportunity. It means hope. It means kids in Turner will continue to have access to programs that build confidence, discipline, leadership, and family through sports.

Many of these kids simply need someone to believe in them and today, DICK’S Sporting Goods did exactly that. Thank you for helping us continue to build something special in Turner.
