That’s a wrap on the World Sailing Women’s Match Racing World Championship. We loved hosting 12 teams of incredible women sailors, and the energy at the Club all week, with so many languages spoken throughout, was something special. Even with race delays due to no wind, teams brought the competition shoreside with Jenga, Cornhole and card games.

Every team showed inspiring dedication, focus, and skill, and in the end, one team rose to the top.
🎉Congratulations to Pauline Courtois and crew Maëlenn Lemaitre, Louise Acker, and Laurane Mettraux on their sixth consecutive World Championship title.

BAAB AND COURTOIS TOP QUALIFYING IN SAN FRANCISCO 🏆 🇺🇸

American Lindsey Baab/ Fog Racing and defending World Champion Pauline Courtois and her Match in Pink by Normandy Elite Team of France topped the qualifying standings at the 2026 Women’s Match Racing World Championship after an impressive opening round robin on San Francisco Bay.

Baab and Courtois finished tied at the top with outstanding 10–1 records, well clear of the chasing pack. Baab’s only defeat came against Australia’s Juliet Costanzo, while Courtois’ sole loss was to Baab.

Behind the leaders, Dutch skipper Julia Aartsen and San Francisco local Nicole Breault both finished strongly at 7–4, securing third and fourth respectively.

Sweden’s Anna Östling advanced in fifth with a 6–5 score, followed by compatriot Martina Carlsson and New Zealand’s Megan Thomson, both at 5–6. France’s Lucie Gout claimed the final quarter-final position at 4–7, edging out Australia’s Juliet Costanzo.

The top 8 quarter-final line-up is now set with Baab facing Gout, Courtois taking on Thomson, Aartsen meeting Carlsson, and Breault lining up against Östling.

🎓 What a year!

On May 26, 2026, we celebrated the graduation of the 11th class of MDA - Management Diploma for Athletes.

Over the past year, this incredible group of elite athletes has challenged themselves beyond sport, exploring finance, strategy, leadership, entrepreneurship, and what comes next after a career at the highest level.

But what stands out most isn't just what they've learned, it's their willingness to keep growing. To step outside their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and understand that growth sometimes comes through failure.

Congratulations to:
👏 André Myhrer
👏 Anna Östling
👏 Linnéa Wennergren
👏 Hampus Mosesson
👏 Alexander Björk
👏 Ylva Stålnacke
👏 Maria Pietilä Holmner
👏 Broc Little
👏 Faruk Pita

We're proud to have been part of your journey and can't wait to see what you accomplish next.
