Thank you to everyone who has come by to check out "Light that Cuts Across". The show will be up through August 24th from 10am to 5pm each day or by appointment.

And come by this Saturday for our closing reception of the show and Glue Projects as a whole! This summer has truely been a pleasure. We extend our gratitude to everyone who has shown work and come out. We love you all ❤️

This crab is very much looking forward to this new decade, where my hope is to care less about the things that don’t matter and just the right amount about the things that do, tell people I love them more often, and ask for the things I want. So many of the coolest people I know are already in this club, I’m happy to finally join.

Thanks for all the well wishes from near and far, and the celebrations both big and small. The last few days have included: AL’s bday dinner @truelaurels (their smoked salmon dip is one of the very best things I’ve had in SF), scrubbing away all my woes and emerging reborn at Pearl Spa, finding a $50!!! Issey Miyake dress at my favorite secondhand store, my bday dinner at our beloved @mr_rintaro, and a GG park picnic on a classically cloudy SF summer day, complete with dogs and friends, old and new 😊. I’m worn out from all this fun and definitely FEEL 40 in mind, body, and spirit 😂

It’s a gift to age feeling both healthy and loved! Thank you most of all to my amazing husband @albert_harold_lewis who pulled out all the bday magic for me💗💗💗

My new work is now on view at @cantorarts as part of the 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 exhibition.

From the initial inspiration to the completion of the exhibition, I am endlessly grateful to Aleesa @aleesapalexander , Kat @kat.cua , Al @albert_harold_lewis , and the Cantor team. I’ve learned so much and am excited for the new chapter of my practice🩷 Big thanks to Andrew @a.sungtaek and Micah @orioncustomframing for your support with the production and resources of the pieces.

It’s been a challenging yet fulfilling year as I have more seriously expanded my practice into photography through this project. My photography journey continues in Amsterdam with @huismarseille , where the upcoming exhibition 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸 𝘚𝘦𝘭𝘧 opens on 10/19. More to come soon! 🫰🙂‍↕️🫰
