Hello Room 11 friends, family, and neighbors:

A family member of one of our staff has tested positive for COVID-19. We will be closed until further notice so our staff members can be tested. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you all soon!

DC! Our scoop situation at @aardvarkcafe @room11dc ends on Halloween! You know what that means? GO get your scoops and point before there’s nowhere to get em in the DMV for the rest of 2020! We’re not sure what 2021 has in store in for us or if/where you’ll be able to get your scoops so please hurry and get your fix at @aardvarkcafe !

To our Room 11 friends, family, and neighbors. As cold weather approaches we are announcing the closing of the patio at Room 11 on November 1. Our daytime pop-up cafe - @aardvarkcafe - will continue to operate but Room 11 will go dark for the winter months. Over 11 years we have operated a business dedicated to serving our neighbors in Columbia Heights but we are now facing our most difficult challenge yet. We hope to return in April - perhaps with a new look or a new name. Please visit us through October 31 to enjoy one more Devil in Mexico or Burnt Sugar Old Fashioned and help us celebrate 11 years. Thank you for your support!

Meeting a friend in the park? Snag picnic supplies from our pop up @aardvarkcafe . We are really loving our veggie sandwich and the lamb sandwich lately. Both with great fall flavors. Don’t forget some of our Room 11 bottled cocktails or a bottle of wine!

We have it on good authority that even though it’s starting to feel more like fall, it’s still okay to enjoy our Rite of Spring cocktail (gin, chamomile honey, lemon, lavender bitters). Enjoy a fancy chamomile garnish on our patio 5-10 pm w-sun, or take one to go through our sister cafe @aardvarkcafe 9am-8pm tu-sun.
