You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” #EckhartTolle

That quote makes me think about how important it is to focus our will power, and avoid distractions. Finding that quiet place to unfold all the good & bad experiences to wipe the slates clean and start with a fresh mindset. That’s where I find my balance ...

We're all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn't. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing.

If you have something nice to say to someone, say it. Don’t allow the fear of it not being reciprocated hold you back from putting out more positivity in our world.
If you need to be honest with someone you care about make sure it comes from the heart and not the head. Our time here is everything and to leave things unsaid is a waste.

Aloha is the unconditional desire to promote the true good of other people in a friendly spirit out of a sense of kinship.

It was an amazing experience getting to watch a sunset #Hula performance at Burning Man. I was out shooting when I saw the crowd start to gathering and cruised over. This was a wonderful gift to share with the community.

Electricity was commonly symbolized by the serpent because of its motion. Electricity passing between the poles of a spark gap is serpentine in its motion. Force projected through atmosphere was called The Great Snake. Being symbolic of universal force, the serpent was emblematic of both good and evil. This force can tear down as rapidly as it can build up. The serpent with its tail in its mouth is the symbol of eternity, for in this position the body of the reptile has neither beginning nor end. The head and tail represent the positive and negative poles of the cosmic life circuit. The initiates of the Mysteries were often referred to as serpents, and their wisdom was considered analogous to the divinely inspired power of the snake. There is no doubt that the title "Winged Serpents" (the Seraphim?) was given to one of the invisible hierarchies that labored with the earth during its early formation.

Courage is a heart word. The root of the word courage is cor - the Latin word for heart. In one of its earliest forms, the word courage meant "To speak one's mind by telling all one's heart." Over time, this definition has changed, and today, we typically associate courage with heroic and brave deeds. But in my opinion, this definition fails to recognize the inner strength and level of commitment required for us to actually speak honestly and openly about who we are and about our experiences -- good and bad. Speaking from our hearts is what I think of as “ordinary courage.

I dig the Latin word for ❤️ .
We have got a lot of people speaking their mind in this digital word. Big ups to the people vocalizing what is in their core. The essence of our natural rhythm is our truth.

Big ups to the people setting goals and going after them. As long as I am breathing I will be voice championing those chasing their dreams, because I know what it’s like when they become a reality. Keep manifesting those wins and showing each other in the best light. .

Do not fall in love with people like me.
I will take you to museums, and parks, and monuments, and kiss you in every beautiful place, so that you can never go back to them without tasting me like blood in your mouth.
I will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible. And when I leave you will finally understand, why storms are named after people.

Get up off of your knees. Come out of your churches, your mosques, your temples. God can hear your prayers for peace, justice, and hope in this broken world just fine while you're out creating peace, working for justice, and giving hope to this broken world. When are we finally going to realize that humanity is the solution to inhumanity? When will we finally understand that we are all drops of the same ocean, hurting together, healing together, hoping together? Don't just pray for hands to heal the hurting. Pray with hands that are healing the hurting. Don't just pray for arms to help the helpless. Pray with arms that are helping the helpless. Don't just pray for feet to respond to need. Pray on feet that are responding to need. Don't just pray for someone to do something. Be someone who does something. Don't just pray for answers. Be the answer.

When I go in the temple to write to the ones I’ve lost. It is not just for people throughout the year, but the All Stars ✨ I am grieving for during my lifetime. I write to ex-girlfriends I will never speak to again. I write about the people that bummed me out so that when it’s set a blaze I get some semblance of closure. A lot of the time it helps. There is something about when thoughts & feelings become written words. Meanwhile at the end I am standing there with 10’s of thousands of people releasing their loses while the structure is burning to the ground. There is a wall of stillness from crowd that allows the roar of the fire to echo. .
