Every detail tells a story. 🤍🐚💍🦪

Invitation suites. Coastal touches. The perfect bouquet. The rings that seal it all.

And behind every one of these beautiful details? A couple who made this chapel their own.

That’s what we love most about weddings here - each one reflects the couple perfectly!

Our charming chapel seats up to 120 guests, our beautiful gardens offer the perfect backdrop for photos and post-ceremony gatherings, and a private bridal room gives your wedding party a serene space to prepare for the celebration ahead.

Every element, thoughtfully in place. Every moment, yours to keep.

Searching for a church wedding venue in Wilmington, NC? The Kenan Chapel is now booking upcoming Wilmington weddings ⛪️ link in bio.

Charlotte’s Lute first made waves with "West1996" in 2012, catching the ear of Dreamville's J. Cole before dropping his sophomore mixtape. Fast forward to 2019, and Lute's collaboration on "Under the Sun" marked the beginning of his poetic journey into anxiety and open-heart surgery on the heartfelt "Gold Mouf Chronicles." Lute's storytelling is more than music—it's an unfiltered NC narrative. 📸: @1hoop1

When Uncle Bob complains that today’s music isn't any good, crank up "Running from the Chase" by Raleigh's Truth Club. Trust us; you'll change his tune before he finishes telling you to, "Get off my lawn!" Truth Club has been playing since middle school, evoking the experimental sound of Sonic Youth or even Pavement. You won't even have finished unwrapping the presents before Uncle Bob is begging you to "destroy his lawn." 📸: @walkerbankson

You may have seen Carlos Rising on NBC’s The Voice and he was great. That said, we need to shine a spotlight on Wilmington's Holy Heat, co-founded by Carlos and his cousin Christian Black, along with bassist Jonathan Damico. Despite being a band for less than two years, they're already crafting original tunes at Black's Schoolhouse Studio. Consider this your insider trading heads up about the next big musical IPO. 📸: @aballhaussen

Anna Lynch is an exceptionally talented singer/songwriter. It's a mystery why more folks don't know her music. Her songs, soaked in folk and Americana, dive into the real stuff – love, loss, and the whole human rollercoaster – with lyrics that hit you right in the feels. Her voice is rich and warm and paints a canvas of emotions. Rather than just singing, she takes you on a journey through all of her highs and all of her lows.

Originally hailing from Sebastopol, California, Anna did the northwest shuffle before planting her roots in Asheville. Why more of our state isn't buzzing about her is beyond us. Anna, if you're reading this, schedule some shows – NC needs you! We'll be right here wiping away tears and listening to 'Hotter Than Hades' for the hundredth time.

I can't believe this was already four years ago! I'm so thankful to be able to capture weddings because it is always special for us to look back on this day and remember all of the small details.

A lot has changed in the past four years of marriage, but I can't wait to continue this journey with you!

Thanks Adam for taking the best photos and Nicole for planning the best day!
