Let me start by saying this: the recent fires in Los Angeles have been devastating, and the last thing anyone needs right now is your hot takes, political agendas, or conspiracy theories clogging up my inbox and social feeds.

If you’re here to offer genuine support, words of kindness, or helpful resources, you’re welcome to stay. But if you’re one of those people who can’t resist turning tragedy into a platform for your ill-informed political rants or forwarding nonsense from sketchy websites, save yourself the effort. I’m not interested.

I’m tired of seeing DMs, texts, or posts about who’s to blame, climate change hoaxes, or “news” from outlets that wouldn’t know real journalism if it smacked them in the face. You’re not helping anyone. All you’re doing is adding noise and stress to an already overwhelming situation.

So here’s the deal:
   •   Keep your opinions to yourself.
   •   Don’t send me fake news.
   •   Stop trying to bait me into debates I don’t want to have.
   •   If you can’t follow these simple rules, don’t expect me to engage, respond, or even keep you around.

I’m focusing on the people affected by these fires, and the animals of-course, not pointless arguments. If you can’t respect that, feel free to quietly unfollow, unfriend, or otherwise disappear. No hard feelings—but no patience, either.
